Federal appeals court just denied the state's appeal, saying the state's "Good Cause" provision for a concealed carry permit is illegal. Good news for California gun owners. I recently moved back to a county where good cause is about as easy as saying you need to be able to defend yourself (getting ready to take the class and apply soon), but where I was previously (and many other parts of the state) you almost need a stalker or documented threats to your life to get a concealed carry permit. http://www.latimes.com/local/califor...113-story.html

ah not so sure about that yet. It will be appealed and blah blah blah. Then guess what? There wont be any guns to buy because the approved DOJ list of pistols available for sale in Kali is shrinking every month..... The antigunners have won in this State. I cannot wait to leave it.I am the Living Man

Carrying conceal has never been a problem for me. If I felt that I needed protection, I simply ignored the law. That system seemed to work well for the criminals.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

I remember my very first conceal weapon permit, back then it was like Florida, it covered everything, knifes, swords, chain saws anything you wanted to conceal that might poke you in the eye.
You had to give a reason for wanting the permit.
My reason was that they issued one to the guy in front of me in line. She said that works for me.
Now we no longer require a reason and it only works for guns.http://bawanna45.wix.com/bawannas-grip-emporium#!

I agree with Muggsy. What sucks is the places you need to CC the most, have the most punitive laws. That doesn't seem to bother criminals though. They often slip through with nothing but a slap on the hand, despite all the laws about felons having guns. My only concern is that the DA would take a normally law abiding citizen, and throw the book at them in order to set an example to scare all the sheeple from carrying.Tom
