A modest proposal for Ferguson, MO

I have an idea that may placate the masses in Ferguson Mo, when in all probability, the grand jury will return no indictment. The mayor of Ferguson should announce an immediate and irrevocable name change for the city of Ferguson, in honor of Michael Brown.

Rename the city Brown-Town.

With this cold weather hitting the Midwest, I doubt that we will see the looting and lawlessness that happens in warmer weather when officer Wilson is not indicted by the grand jury. But since it's been plastered all over the news, and has the black community all riled up, who knows what might happen in other cities. They should wait until it's really cold over most of the nation to release the news that the officer was justified in his actions.

Do you think that this story is winding down and will soon be off the radar? So much so that the decision on the LEO wont matter much to the American people or do you think King riots in LA type of reaction?

I agree, the riots will happen unless Wilson is jailed. It's a done deal and people wonder why they are looked at with suspicion. Even if Wilson is jailed the riots will happen because it didn't happen quick enough.

Smart move. The National guard should show up in full force with Jeeps equipped with .30 cal air cooled machine guns, M-16s, tear gas, flash bang grenades, batons and attack dogs. The fire department should show up with water cannons.

Should a riot happen, it would be a good excuse for declaring martial law. Which would allow the government minions to go door to door and confiscate all firearms, and whatever else is thought to be a danger!! Like stores of survival supplies, maybe. FEMA????

I just hope that the ones who riot, burn & loot don't screw it up for the peaceful & non-violent demonstrators.... and that law enforcement can tell the difference between the two.
