We have non-Obamacare insurance (not purchased through an exchange or anything) and I'm afraid to call and ask what our future rates will be.

Same as the Obamacare rates, ACA removes the free market aspects of healthcare.

Same people who support ACA think raising minimum wage will help the middle class

The only people in favor of the ACA (Affordable? What a sick joke.) are the "have nots" who are heavily subsidized by our taxes. Yet, millions of people still do not have health insurance and will be willing or unwilling to pay the fine. For this, Obama turned the health insurance industry on it's head when all he had to do was devise a plan to insure the uninsured. My former employer has dropped me from the company health plan in order to comply with the ACA so for 2015 I will need my own health plan. If you think I will ever in my remaining lifespan vote for any candidate that has a (D) following his name, you are sadly mistaken.

The wife and I have been with out insurance for over a year. I really don't care about insurance paying for the piddly stuff, and my state refused(thankfully) to set up the night mare exchange. You can't get catastrophic plans unless your under 30, or your destitute. Did some checking the other day. I am pretty sure that I can get a policy with high deductible, that pays for nothing, but covers you for catastrophic issues. With all of your help(wallets) and gov't subsidies, my plan should cost me 0$, with a $13,200 deductible.

My sister and brother in law have the mid level Bronze Plan. Cost went up from $748 monthly to $1128 and their deductible increased from $7500 to $15,000. They will be going bare in the future.
