  • In a way, Professor Gruber was right

MIT economics Professor Gruber, the one who was just on the hot seat at yesterday's Congressional hearing, may have been technically right when he was taped as saying, "the American voter is STUPID." Here's why: The Affordable Care Act (ACA) was drawn up in the Democratically controlled Congress and sent to POTUS to be signed into law. No one, not you nor I, ever voted for this bill. The only people who voted for it was the Democrats in the Senate and House of Representatives. No Republican supported this bill. So perhaps Professor Gruber was actually mocking the Congressional Democrats although he never quite came out and said that in his defense.

I would have loved to be in his seat. Perfect opportunity to call it the way it is and I like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if he "separates" from MIT. He's giving them a very very bad name. It's like having a 10 year old brat as a college professor.
