DHS list of Right wing/Domestic Extremist, circa 2009-2010

I hadn't seen the official list before. I guess these are the Potential Domestic Terrorists Obama goes on about. It's so broad I think it probably covers at least half the population.

That is one scary group. If you believe in the constitution, watch Fox news, vote for anyone other than a democrat or republican, believe its wrong to open doors to illegals,
then you're an enemy of the state!

In most country's this is called communism or at least socialism!

Funny, but I didn't see liberal socialist A-holes anywhere on that list. Moveon.org, Occupy Wallstreet, etc.

At least they included animal and environmental groups. Perhaps Occupy could be added there. This may have been put together before the Occupy movement. Move on needs to be listed in a category of general crazyies, or dumbarses.

With enough imagination, one could imagine we're living in a time EXACTLY a like Nazi Germany, that WE'RE the persecuted people's and we're just DAYS, maybe HOURS from being rounded up by jack-booted thugs ready to kick down our doors to haul us off to the (gasp!) Kalifornia tofu mines to serve hard, vegan time.

In 5 years since that list, how many family members came up missing for saying mean things about the president, were eugenetically put down for having "sub-human" DNA, were dismissed from the army, excluded from the stock exchange, law, medicine, and business? How many artists and intellectuals were imprisoned for their sculpture or writings, for advocating non-violence and free elections? How many of your family members, neighbors and coworkers have been involuntarily sterilized to avoid contaminating the gene pool?

Please don't let one's creative imagination run too far - look towards North Korea if you want a pre-war Germany comparison. Our beautiful, heterogeneous USA is nothing like either of them, even if there are those we disagree with in politics. Don't take the "wacko" bait, and be disregarded as a crack-pot. STAY GROUNDED and be heard.

You guys are looking at this through heavily tinted political glasses, no? That 5-year-old list was about potential domestic terrorists who may fit the profile of others who already committed violence against post offices, federal buildings, police stations and so on. It's a gross attempt to put patterns to something difficult to predict - violence - based on what a person says and believes. I bet a bunch of folks here are happy to do the same about Muslims, Liberals or even Prius drivers.

Well half of our high level generals were given the boot for not playing well with the white house, lord knows how many terrible accidents are recorded involving people who didn't play well with the Clintons, many many more in the future I'm pretty sure.
The good guys just can't seem to accept the idea of finding one really good candidate and getting behind him, kind of a contest amongst themselves, divide and lose.
