Do you notice anything strange here?

Just curious if anyone else notices anything odd about these two photos of Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the one that they say shot and killed the two NYPD officers. One was taken right after the shooting, apparently after shooting the two cops, but before blowing his brains out, he stopped and posted a picture on Instagram and wrote some stuff. The second pic is obviously a little after that.

The camo patterns seems to look a bit different too, but that's inconclusive at this point. I'd sure like an explanation to the shoe strings though.

It's hard enough to swallow that he was supposed to have posted a pic on Instagram, and wrote some stuff calmly right after offing some cops, but believing he pulled a new set of shoe strings out of his pocket and installed them too prior to shooting himself is a bit over the top.

The crazy dude had a long day. He shot his girlfriend earlier so the pic (blood) might be from that. He probably laced up before hunting down the cops figuring he'd be running. He didn't reference the cops in the message only the blood on the shoe.

That could be an explanation, I'll look into that further, as I'm not sure of the sequence of the Instagram posts and the cops being shot. There are some other oddities about this story though, but I'll get into that a bit later.

The shoe photo was posted the same time as the gun photo, several hours before the cop killings. He shoots his ex girlfriend, early am in Baltimore. Goes to Brooklyn and kills 2 cops mid afternoon. In between those two things, Ismaaiyl had posted photos of his gun, and his shoe, and let everybody know what he intended to do.

From what I can see in these and other photos, he obviously also changed into white topped sneakers. Probably because noticed he had blood on the shoes he wore when he shot the girl.

So now that the "magic shoelace" turns out to be a dud, I'm sure that'll end it. Finally escaping the grip of paranoia, conspiracy theorists will admit they're wrong, look at the world from a more common sense perspective and sweet reason will prevail, ...right?

How do we know when the photos were posted? 89grand's pic shows the Tweet claiming he's in Brooklyn, I have no idea how the shoe fits in.

If the laces were on when he shot someone, the laces would be bloody. Why remove them at all? Plenty of blood to show in the picture. But, whatever - effed up people do things that can't be explained. We're trying to explain the minutiae of the event but not trying to explain why he killed two cops in cold blood. It can't be done.

I wouldn't call the "magic shoe laces" a dud as you put it, as you have not proven why, how or when they appeared, you merely guessed.

I haven't proven anything either, other than the whole thing about the shoe laces seems weird at best. I doubt he decided to carry extra shoes of the same type when he set out that day, I also find it hard to believe he carried a brand new pair of laces just in case, or that he bothered to stop in a store at some point and buy some. Maybe he did, but it sure doesn't seem likely. Then again, most big stories involving guns/violence propped up by the MSM are usually full of strange things that don't normally happen i.e Sandy Hook, Elliot Rodger, Boston Bombing, Cassidy Stay and a few others.
