Someone said they don't like kids sitting or standing on a dog's spine because it can cause permanent damage. What's wrong with that statement?

It's only that it's PETA grandstanding and Palin media-whoring that any of this is "news-worthy" with a small "n".

Not quite. A far left fringe wacko group with a political agenda and willing accomplices in the media got free publicity by bashing a conservative woman they are furiously jealous of because she's hot and smart. The subject of the photo is totally irrelevant to their agenda, as demonstrated by them praising Ellen for the same thing.

There's a war being fought right under most Americans' noses and they don't even realize it. It's neither false nor worn out. If it were worn out, they'd quit bashing Palin and people would quit reacting to it.

surprised at the cavalier attitude for the dog. Sarah is hot so I would pile on her any day. Cannot determine what the dog feels by a still photo--not sure how you guys can either esp without audio. That aside. This is a service dog.....BIG Difference than the ordinary poochie. Service dogs will take a kick in the sack and ask for another to make their keeper happy. I know I am using hyperbole here but I have been around a lot of service dogs and their demeanors are very stoic.
Get a step stool for the kid. If he can handle stepping on the dog he can use a step stool too. Besides in a few moths that kid is gonna grow not shrink. I agree with the objectors here. Good call. Flame suit on.

Has nothing to do with conservative or liberal. Standing on an innocent animal whether it's letting you or not is abuse, plain and simple. and you automatically think that sara isn't a dog lover? If the dog was being harmed in any way don't you think that sara would step in and correct the child? Every liberal knows that conservatives have no compassion. Hell, we're for dirty air and water, hate children and want to throw granny off a cliff. I'm not going to lose sleep over it or anything, but I don't think the kid should be standing on the dog either. No reason for it that I can see. I'm sure given the choice, the dog wouldn't want to be stood on.

Excluding my wife, whom I love dearly.................I have come to discover that in my 59 yrs. on this earth, dogs are much more tolerable and friendly, than most people I've come into contact with. If you want to stand on something, stand on one of the relatives...............cmon, I know you can think of at least one that you'd...........................................an d you'll feel so much better
