Seems pretty ignorant, racist, and illegal. Also the comment "I'm not worried about anyone coming after me because I pack heat" is just silly. Anyone coming after you because of the publicity generated by your intolerance will know you pack heat and take you by surprise if they mean you harm. Having a pistol on your side does you no good if someone kills you before you have time to touch it.

The proper and legal way to go about exercising your hatred of an entire religion is to make your range a "private club" and deny membership to anyone you feel has the wrong color of skin or religious beliefs. Then you can be a hateful scumbag without violating the law.

You're right about illegality. I'm sure she knows that. This is civil disobedience. But are laws that prohibit individuals and businesses (as opposed to government entities) from deciding for themselves with whom they interact moral? Doesn't look like Holder wants to enforce, at least not yet. Individual Muslims could bring suit. But there would be more publicity and in the course of the litigation the plaintffs would have to answer questions about their ideology which might force some who have been denying the role of Islam in "violent extremism" to face the truth.

Businesses can deny service to anyone they want, with certain limitations.

The article says some Hindu customers were turned away for being brown. She sounds like a racist to me. Perhaps bigot would have been a better term to use.

I'm unaware of any Muslim countries who have our laws, so they don't have to follow them. We do, or we need to change them.

Here's where we go wrong in this country IMHO. Not saying that I agree with her but, in a truly free society, you can be free to be a racist as long as you don't use your attitude to do anyone physical harm. Denying someone access to what you are selling is not physical harm. The best course of action for those who are anti-racist is to work to educate and convert racists...not to make it illegal. Forcing racists to do something against their will just makes it worse. Same goes for any other issue. We tend to try to fix things with unconstitutional laws instead of addressing the root cause.

She can do whatever she wants IMHO. I could care less.

While I agree in principal, as I'm no fan of the government forcing anyone to do much of anything, legally, that is not the case. And I am a big fan of the law being equally enforced for everyone. Just because I think these people are hateful idiots doesn't mean I don't support their right to be... the world would be a lot less entertaining without morons to make fun of.

A business owner can deny service to an individual, correct. They cannot deny entire groups based on skin color, religion, sex, disabilities, political affiliation, etc. As I said, there is a legal way to go about enforcing your bigotry, I don't know why she chose to publicly admit violating federal law.

If I don't like the looks of ya, be it pants down to your knees, hat on backwards or a sheet on your head and smell of goats, you ain't coming in my business. Since I don't have a business it's a non issue I suppose.

Actually the article says that she takes her cue from the name ("Muhammed" might be a clue) Someone tweeted out they were refused based on being brown but that's not what she says.

If a Nazi came to your demolition service during WWII and wanted your advice on blowing bridges would you give it to him? Why not, ...bigotry?

I think she is going about this all wrong. She should wait until a some of them come in and kill a bunch of people. Then she could listen to "Why did you let them in?" We could have investigations, accusations and at least a dozen hearings. The news media could cover it 24/7 for at least 4 weeks. Al Sharptounge could give rallying speaches and make a fortune. Doesn't she understand the new "American Way?" Never be proactive, always reactive and lead from behind. If you show them love they will return it manifold. (Obamanation.) We can't say terrorism so lets make it racism. (Muslim is not a race by the way.)
