There's at least one gun in WalMart every time I step foot in one of them

Never been in a Walmart. I heard that the one in my area doesn't sell Kahr pistols.

That's what conservative economics say anyway, and I can't confirm because I don't have a membership due to not needing bulk goods.
I wouldn't expect any answer than what you just posted from what I've read from you. Not trying to start anything, but before you post about something you have no clue about, go visit a Costco. Heck, you might even want to spell the name of the company right.

Walmart has higher prices than Sam's Club. Sam's Club came after Costco and they are on par with each other. I haven't been a member of Costco for a number of years due to relocation and ended up joining Sam's. Now that I live where a Costco is as close as Sam's I may go back.

All I can say is ol' Sam has been rolling in his grave for a number of years since his kids took over the company. He grew a business from a single store with an idea of doing retail completely different than anyone had ever dreamed of into the largest retail giant the world has ever known, and his number one priority was customer service. Sadly, that is no longer even on the list.

If you want to learn about the man, read his book. Truly an amazing man in my book. Too bad his kids have never apparently read it.

The company's starting pay is $11.50 per hour, and the average employee wage is $21 per hour, not including overtime."
if you aren't familiar with Costco, it's kind of like Sam's, but the folks that work at Costco are smiling.
"As President and Chief Executive Officer at COSTCO WHOLESALE CORP, W. Craig Jelinek made $5,614,386 in total compensation. Of this total $650,000 was received as a salary, $90,400 was received as a bonus, $0 was received in stock options, $4,783,200 was awarded as stock and $90,786 came from other types of compensation." that's way off the $25 million of the Walmart CEO. maybe Jelinek just isn't as greedy. a guy could get by on $5.6million if his wife can budget.
AND the CEO is a huge supporter of Obama and would not sell Dinesh D'Souza's latest book--until pressured by shopper/supporters to do so. Not a fan of Costco nor will I shop there. I could rant on but ..... Sam's club stepped up when Costco would not sell d"souza's book. Heck you guys know all this already.

Not close to conservative economics....Walmart has a bad business reputation from what I have read in the past. I do believe that they will make cuts to compensate for any wage increase bc of their history.

Business do what they have to do to profit and survive. Annual raises are given to keep up with inflation. Merit raises and promotions are based on performance or an increase in production. That's the way it's supposed to works under capitalism.

I'll describe our costco the wife likes. Nothing but a big air conditioned warehouse that has decent prices on USDA Prime meat and OK wines, coffee, milk, eggs, and breakfast cereal. Displays are wooden pallets. No service or help except for vendors peddling their wares that don't make 11 per hour probably. Only real employees are at the bakery, meat dept., pharmacy, and checkout. They carry limited selections of everything so you'll buy what they have. big sales pressure to get you yo buy theit "executive " membership.

We buy what we use and save money on and thats all. If they make money good for them. But they are a typical left coast company just like target that has used big data and psychological studies to figure out how to get customers to let go of their money just like every other company so they aren't so special. Watch the CNBC special next time it comes on and you can see. JMHO.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Want to see what will be the end of our country as we know it???
