Obama: 'I'm Embarrassed' For Republicans Who Sent Letter To Iran

"I'm embarrassed for them," Obama told Vice. "For them to address a letter to the ayatollah -- the supreme leader of Iran, who they claim is our mortal enemy -- and their basic argument to them is: don't deal with our president, because you can't trust him to follow through on an agreement... That's close to unprecedented."
A total of 47 senators signed the letter, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.). Several other Republicans threw their support behind the letter, including Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, both considered potential contenders for the 2016 GOP presidential primary."

ok, that was funny but this one is better--

"Glenn Beck is considering breaking ties with the National Rifle Association, but not for the reasons one might hope.

The object of Beck's ire is not the pro-Second Amendment rights organization itself, but board member Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, who has been accused -- dubiously, it should be noted -- of having links to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood. Largely dubbed a conspiracy theory by liberals and conservatives alike, the claims are primarily the work of Center for Security Policy founder Frank Gaffney. "

Norquist is a muslim? I sure wish there was somebody on this board who could add some authoritative commentary about these jewish/masonic/new world order plots and plans.
Beck breaking up with the NRA, wow?

        oh boo hoo---
"EDMUNDSON • Edmundson on Thursday night became one of the first St. Louis County municipalities to formally oppose final approval of a legislative proposal that would limit traffic fine revenue to 10 percent of their budgets.
A resolution approved by aldermen says Edmundson "does not profit from the operation of a police department, but instead provides police protection services for the protection of its citizens and those that travel through the city, including on the Interstate highway, at great expense."

Edmunson(formerly a subdivision named Edmunson Terrace) has a population of 800 and is located along I-70, by the airport. they have maybe 100' of frontage on the interstate and along with several other little burgs run the typical speed trap/highway robbery scams/revenue generation. if you have 30" wheels and dark glass on your 87 Caddy, you will get a ticket.

enough of the local joke news, here's a global joke---
Netanyahu Blames Flagging Poll Numbers On Global Leftist Plot

JERUSALEM, March 14 (Reuters) - Flagging in opinion polls before Tuesday's election in Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to rally rightists by casting his center-left challengers as tools of a global campaign to usurp power.

Over social media and broadcast interviews, the three-term leader has accused unspecified foreign governments and tycoons of funneling "tens of millions of dollars" to opposition activists working to undermine his Likud party and boost the Zionist Union joint list led by Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni."

could somebody please elaborate on this "Global Leftist Plot", think we need more facts.

It's the Obama administration using our tax money but Bibi is too discrete to come out and say it.

hmmmph! and here I thought it was Bibi and Boehner using Sheldon Adelson's money to divert the democratic process. (I mean do you really trust people as dark skinned as Boehner?)
on the humor meter this is way down from the comedy of the tea-party letter to Iran, "dear enemy, you can't trust the US, blah, blah......."
