"Big mouths at the NRA? You cannot be serious. They want everyone of good moral character who wants a gun to have the access to be able to buy one. I think you have missed their message(s). Are you a member? NRA provide "mandatory" classes? The "they" in the NRA is US---the members. That money doesn't come from ether. Finally who wants anything mandatory? I don't. Nor does the NRA."

I'm almost 70, think I read my first American Rifleman magazine when I was 8. especially liked all the surplus deals they had back then. my dad worked for Western Cartridge Co. in Alton, Il. (now Olin). hehehehe, girls, motorcycles, then sailing captured my interest for years (always had a gun handy). then when I retired I got back into guns and shooting. a lot has changed in 60 years. the AR isn't a trade magazine with hunting and bullseye articles around the advertising, it's for amateur 2nd amendment scholars and loud mouth crazies. Wayne is a psycho! geez, I'm afraid to look at a copy of Field&Stream, what's that all about these days, hooking the liberal zombie fish?
I like guns and I like to shoot. if I had property, I'd never go to another range and have my buddy at the gun store deliver my new purchase---nobody would know I'm a gun nut and a shooter. when guns and shooting got to be the domain of hillbillys(with braided beards) and other psycho's (the alleged neo-christian, cryto-fasists, bigots and "Gomer's"or Gohmer's) I kind of wanted to distance myself from all of that. when I was a kid back in the 50's a gentleman would put on his tweed jacket, bow tie and take his 20ga. double barrel skeet shooting.
anyway, next time you have to renew your mandatory drivers license, hope you pass the vision test. maybe layoff of the NRA koolaid a week or 2 before? huh? see, a drivers license is a privilege not a right. gun ownership and use should be a regulated privilege.

      "
A program of search and seizure----door to door. Man, you must not be a member of the NRA because the last thing we want is anything like that which would set a precedent to come after your LEGAL guns via door to door searches. " see, your either drinking doubles of the koolaid or your a felon with a gun. there is a big difference between illegal and legal. if they did a door to door search and got to me, they'd find the guns and all the paperwork and probably note that everything is legal. but now it's all written down and photographed, oh my! "they" could come back anytime and take it all. on the other hand, how many tons of illegal weapons are there in this country?
if your ever in a gunfight, it's probably going to be with some "gansta thug" with a stolen gun. or if your kids get shot at school it's going to be by some psycho kid who stole his prepper moms guns(shooting her was the only good part of that story). what's all this death and destruction all about? gun is the only answer? screwy world huh?

the (hysterical, smile your on camera) video of NawYawkers wandering into a gun store shows what I would call an average cross section of folks who have no business anywhere around guns. ya know, guns go bang and spit lead, very dangerous. why would you want somebody that's barely safe with a soup spoon to have a gun? if I find more vids of cops shooting their finger off in a gun store, I'll link them here.
there are some people who post on this forum that seemed to have OD'd on the conservative koolaid, they might get positive responses to their Ted Nugent/David Duke flights of fantasy, but thats because this forum is a back of the backwater, remote part of a vast internet. the majority of this country elected Bush/Cheney for 2 terms, became disillusioned with the neocons and their wars and turned(in anger) away from that evil and went on to put the black, muslim, socialist in office for 2 terms. conclusion: every 4 years the majority elects the evil they think they need. (please read,"they think they need" as "bs they were sold").
as long as Biden and his secret service crew are shooting skeet in the backyard, I think that's about as close to gun control as it's going to get. here, get a gun like Joe shoots--

You seem to be a gun elitist with views of the 2A and 4A, maybe the whole Bill of Rights, that are far more dangerous than any retard with a gun.

"elitist with views of the 2A and 4A, maybe the whole Bill of Rights, that are far more dangerous than any retard with a gun."
                  noun
adjective: elitist; noun: elitist; plural noun: elitists
                  1.
a person who believes that a system or society should be ruled or dominated by an elite.
whether you or I like it or agree with it, that's exactly how it is. there's the folks in the big house and the rest of us in the huts. I like to look at rich folks shotguns, sue me.
"views of the 2A and 4A, maybe the whole Bill of Rights" oh wait, your one of the folks that thinks because some stroke of luck made you a white american that constitutional entitlements are your RIGHT? god has chosen you to have the RIGHTS? see, that's where we'd argue, I perceive these things as a privilege and a privilege that should be monitored and within reason, regulated (for the greater good, or at least my good.) god can (in some fantasy) give somebody a right, in the real world a privilege is earned and continually payed for. consider that the Bill of Rights(privileges) was bought and payed for by every chump who put on a uniform and died for those "rights". Bill of Rights, dripping in wasted blood.
so anyway, here we are on kahrtalk, we got peoples and resources, let's start our own phony gun store and shoot a video.
customer(played by Joe6Pack) wanders in and wants a gun. we admit to selling guns, but first! all of our customers get to go to school and learn about guns and safety, then they get bargain prices for shooting a variety of guns on our range, with further instruction. subject to fed and local background checks, mental health release signed by a doc, good old Joe is almost a gun owner. (CW9=$400, holster= $50, cleaning supplies= $25, Ammo=$30, classes=$100, range=$200-- total= $805). see, if Joe is not a felon, wife beater, molester, mentally defective and has $800 he may join the club. by the way, the CW9 is the cheapest gun we sell, here at SnobGuns we'd really like to sell you an Ed Brown or something else decent. time wasters, bs'ers, nut jobs-- go away!

Who said I am white? I didn't. Interesting why you would bring that up here at this juncture.

Constitutional "entitlements"? Wow we are at an impasse here.

BTW thank you for the edification on the word elitist. Please look up how to spell "paid"

Once in awhile I take this little card out of my wallet and reread it. Its attributed to Thomas Paine
"To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead"
                      Rest in peace Muggsy

"Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world." Winston Churchill 1899

Has anyone ever made a fake hardware store video to show how dangerous hammers are when they are used in a manner not consistent with its intended use?

Or the same for a cutlery shop?

the antigunners will stop at nothing to try to sway opinion.

Look you insensitive clod, hammers have only ONE PURPOSE - they were designed to BASH THINGS. They magnify the force of a person unfairly and there is no God-granted right to bear a hammer. How many people have been hurt or killed by them, huh? Did you know that hammer-owning households are nearly 74% more likely to have a hammer-related incident than those without? Did you know you're 63.4x more likely to be hurt by a hammer than a ill-intending nail? And how many hammers on the street are enough for you people? Two, ten, two hundred? Look, if just one thumb is saved by regulating hammers, then we will have done the right thing. How can you argue with that? THINK OF THE CHILDREN. And don't get me started on blacked-out assault hammers...
