  • Why I'm a Conservative Republican

Only a liberal progressive democrat would think of using your own hard earned tax dollars to buy back your firearms. How else can the IRS be used to screw us?

I saw her on the news the other day. I know a whole lot of people who own guns but not one who owns an "assault weapon". Only the military has them. Surely they aren't going to turn them in are they? Seeing as how our libtard progressive (socialist) government has neutered the military, they might as well. I am still studying hard to get my liberal progressive democrat license but so far am failing badly.

IMO, with this administration, the ways are countless. I used to think IRS was fair and only harsh on tax cheats but I've since grown up and realize IRS is political. Silly me.

Always was registered as republccan but when a buddy was running locally as a conservative, he asked if I would consider registering as such. I did, and did.

Since, I've been audited twice (never had before) and for the 2nd year in a row, the IRS has mistakenly swapped mine and my wife's SS numbers. This despite filing electronically with everything correct.

Last year they insisted we request an extension to "prove who we are" and then file long-form. Our refund magically showed in our account days before the deadline.

This year, same exact thing but the CPA has already filed for the extension as he expects no such luck this time.

Maddening. Btw, we were clean with both audits, did nothing wrong.

              It's a mad, mad world.

This year is particularly frustrating because we sold a property and could therefore claim losses (we took a bath) thus making for a nice return.

With one in college out of state and another to follow this fall, I'd really like the peace of mind of seeing the funds in my account rather than the government's.

They keep telling us it's all about safety, and saving the children, when it's really all about control. More young children die from drowning than from gunshots, maybe they should outlaw swimming pools. And it's not just our own government, most of the governments of the world want us disarmed. Why, what business is it of theirs? Most likely to pave the way for a global government, the New World Order. They have to disarm us before they can take us over. You'd think England with it's strict gun laws would be safe place, yet it's consistently ranked as one of the most violent countries in Europe. It can't be about safety, as everywhere they've passed concealed carry laws, crime has gone down. One of the safest towns in America, is one where you are legally required to have a gun in your home, Kennesaw Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, with it's big city crime rate.

Jimmy Carter turned me into a Republican and Reagan made me proud to be one.

+1 I only voted for one democrat in my lifetime and LBJ was my Commander-in-Chief at the time. I was young and dumb at the time. There's an old saying that holds true. If you aren't a liberal at twenty you have no heart, but if you're still a liberal at 40 you have no brains. I was a quick learner.

I never had a heart then! LOL...

I wasn't old enough to vote until '85 so I missed out on pulling the lever for Reagan but I wasn't about to miss doing it for his right hand man in '88.
