I'll bet that the victims of police torture in Chicago line up by the hundreds of thousands for their reparations. Even those who weren't living in Chicago at the time. It kinda like the government surplus cheese giveaway, ain't it? I didn't know that the government even made cheese. (Can you say, "Redistribution of wealth?")

your government stockpiles goods for when times get tough. cheese, powdered milk are just 2 things the dairy farmers lobby got the politicians to put on the list. go to gov auctions, good way to see what you own and how it's managed.

I hate being the one that has to break this to you Marc, but nothing in life is free. The government had to pay the farmers with your tax dollars to get the cheese and powdered milk. Can you say redistribution of wealth? And as far as government surplus is concerned. The government bought all of those surplus things with, you guessed it, your tax dollars. Now there willing to sell them back to you at half price for just a few more of your dollars. Such a deal, as my Uncle Sol used to say. Some day you'll wake up to the fact that your getting screwed sideways from Sunday by the people who are supposed to be looking out for your best interests. Life ain't fair and then you die.
