        JohnR,
asian? huh? that ain't no chinamans daughter, thats a light af-am kid, probably the result of her af-am mommy sellin it to some irish kid from the suburbs. the "baby-daddy" or the guy de 'ho was stayin with, is now in jail and this scammer company wants the little girl to call him up, probably only costs $39.95. who cares?
now, on a subject of way more importance, it's my understanding that you got rid of a M-14 platform rifle(mini30) for an M-16 platform S&W whatever, thingy?
oh, why? the M-16 is the rifle of lost wars. M14 or AK-47 is my preference, especially here in lush/overgrown Mo. actually a 12 ga. is about the best. shot or slugs. for all around use and big fun, look at a lever action .45-70. have fun.

Hmm, remind me which war the M14 won? I have a war winning Garand, and I certainly prefer shooting the Ar15 type a lot more than the Mini 30.

Let's agree, our weapons haven't lost wars, our politicians have!

Saw a .40 Sub2k in the store once. It felt cheap.

I have a Remington 30-06 P17 Enfield that's a tack driver. It kind of looks like a bolt action Garand might. The story is that is the type of rifle Corporal York used to capture all those Germans and win the medal and promotion to Sgt. with.
I guess that's the rifle most US troops were issued in WWI since we didn't have enough Springfields to go around. We'd been making the P-14 in .303 for the British, and retooled them to 30-06 when we entered the war. Like Garands, their are several makers of them. I got it pretty cheap, under $200, but have been seeing them going for around $1k lately both at gun shows and on the net. Guns have been about my best investment. Wish my stocks and bonds would have done that well. I guess the British didn't really care for them since they were heavy and didn't hold as many rounds as the SMLE. I think they hold 7+1.

My momma often times tells folks she found me under a rock and frequently considered putting me back where she found me.

Does this mean I'm an abused child?
