Speaking of Jocko, haven't seen him around for a couple of days. Should I start checking the newest Waco PD mug shot posting?

Funny thing how that works in "reality" and not how us gun owners think it should work or how we see things thru our rose colored glasses. In reality, national CC reciprocity would never come to fruition, but oddly enough when it comes to gun control measures, states rights get thrown out the window on the federal level... We can't get national reciprocity because of states rights, but they can get national background checks.

Plus, having national CC reciprocity would be like opening pandora's box. Do you really want the federal government and/or senators from CA, NY, NJ, HI, MD, etc having a say so and the power to legislate the conditions in which we all are allowed to obtain a CCP? What if in the future the Dems win the presidency and control of the Senate again? What if one CCW permit holder commits a mass shooting, and the Dems exploit it to make getting a CCP more difficult in EVERY state with just a few quick votes? At least the way it is now, I can easily without a fuss get a CCP in VA and Utah that allows me to carry in most states. I simple can avoid the antigun nanny states I don't want to visit or live in anyway... If the Bloomberg's of the world would have an easier time restricting our CC rights on the federal level vs trying to do so from state to state.

There are more Red states in the US than Blue, but Blue states power come in on the federal level based on the fact that more people live in Blue states. Putting CC rights in the hands of the federal government would be giving up our red state majority advantage in lieu of their advantage on having more representation on the federal level IMHO...

Lefties crying crocodile tears for the R party; transparent and laughable. After 8 years of naked power grabbing socialists in charge everyone not on welfare is disgusted. Tea party movement arose from disgust with Republicans going along with government bailouts. If they can "capture" the R party and take it back to Goldwater/Reagan principles we'll all be better off and Rs may even win Reagan sized victories again.
          Rest in peace Muggsy

What's gonna kill us as history repeats itself is 27 Republican candidates running against Hitlery.

I had to credit Mitt when he bowed out to support McCain so he didn't split the vote and muddy the waters.

We need to thin the herd very soon and then get behind a good candidate. Sadly I don't think we've found a good candidate yet. That should be top of the list.

The way I see it the republicans have 27 good to fair candidates running for president. The democrats seem to be having a hard time finding even one good candidate to run. I'd say that the republicans are a shoe in, but then I've always been a optimist. Mitt dropped out to endorse McCain. Mitt always did have a knack for shooting himself in the foot. Hard to run that way. I'm so sure of my prognostications I may not vote in the next election. In a pigs eye I won't.

For crying out loud! Where in the constitution does it say that you have to have a permit to be able to carry a gun? The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Why does everyone have so much of a freaking hard time understanding those words. We already have State reciprocity under the United States Constitution. Do I have to explain everything?

this isn't a political or personal thing, it's just changing demographics. same thing for the constant change in numbers or people who are not religious.
(Chevy or a Ford man? how about a used Toyota for a good price? brand loyalty was one of those quaint things that defined the former middle class.) (I guess there will still be Cub's fans).
(if the US constitution has a 2nd amendment extending the privilege to non-fellons to bare arms, then any laws that would hinder that are unconstitutional? why do I need a Mo. CCW permit? I already got the 2nd amendment. why do I need a Castle law, I can defend myself, can't I? is there a difference between shooting the threat or gutting the threat with the old KA-BAR? I think not.)
having said that, I would consider voting for Bernie Sanders, if I thought he could make good on increasing taxes for the ridiculously wealthy(trickle down faster!) and getting rid of the stupid affordable health care act in favor of a national single payer(Medicare for all) system. remember, Bernie is from Vermont, the state with the best(none) gun laws.
I thought you might be a Bernie Sanders fan. He is an avowed communist socialist.

It's the hand lotion, it wears all the little symbols off the keyboard so I don't know what's what. Wait, I didn't knwo what was what before the hand lotion so that can't be it.

ok, the 2nd amendment has been reviewed by the supreme court and the lobbyists wrote the majority opinion that every citizen has the right and duty to possess and carry a firearm, thus the national mandatory gun toting law of 2015 came into effect. any gunless violators will be subject to fines, repeat offenders will go to Cook County jail for "training". (in a separate ruling, the fashion police determined that only metal guns were suitable for open carry, keep the tuperware concealed.)

Thats a fashion statement right there. That might bring back leather too in place of kydex.
