  • Tampa buy back program.

In response to the church shooting, Tampa has announced a buy back program. Fifty bucks a gun, now there is a deal. There will be people piled up outside offering $75 a gun!

Most of the guns that get turned in would never have been used in a crime unless they were stolen . A waste of time, effort and money. Your tax dollars at work.
Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

That's the problem with buying guns from other than a dealer... stolen ones. Or, crime guns!

While vending at the gun shows, I had some young, and maybe "gang wannabees" come by wanting to trade an AK for a pistol. No way! Could be stolen and they probably couldn't show ID to satisfy me. I'm not an FFL holder, but do have scruples and worry about safe transactions... and future use of anything I sell.

I "retired" from that because I was losing money and building debt with interest that I couldn't pay off at the end of every month.
