  • State of the democrat candidate race....

Since HildaBeast has been running through her own minefield lately, here's what's left on the left:

If the Dems aren't panicking, they're clueless. Or they know something we don't.

They are most worried about Kasich and Bush...........middle of the road conservatives. They're also a bit worried about Walker. As long as Trump stays in the limelight, they're happy.

Trump is starting to go down in popularity. He was a liberal for far longer than he's been a conservative. And a democrat far longer than he's been a republican. He claims to be pro gun, but supported a ban on assault weapons. He supported abortion on demand and partial birth abortion. Which Trump is running for president now?

            Muggsy,
Of all people, I am surprised you said that.
He's a BUSINESS MAN. you grease the wheels, to get what you want. And then consider he's operating in a 90% Democrat part of the world, NYC. That in itself has no reflection on how he REALLY feels....
He's funding his own campaign and won't owe anything to any special interests, which will make him all the better as a leader.
BTW, my buddy is an IBEW UNION head and the hall is telling THEM to vote Trump, interesting indeed.
Get well, my friend and don't worry about these candidates.

Reagan used to be a Democrat too at one time, but like he said, I didn't leave the Democratic party, they left me. I used to be a Democrat also, until Jimmy Carter became President. Then I was ashamed to be called a Democrat. People can and do change. Whatever you say about Trump, he has done one great thing for Republicans is that he's energized the party and brought issues to the front that needed to be addressed. He isn't afraid to speak his mind and like he said, he doesn't need anybodies money. I am still pondering Ben Carson and Carli Fiorina as possible nominees, like Trump, none of them are career politicians.

                Great cartoon Armybrat!

I've had all the change I can handle in my life time. If a violet becomes president, I'm out of here.

Ronald Reagan wasn't a republican come lately. He ran for governor of California as a republican long before he ran as a republican for president of the United States. When Reagan was a democrat he was a conservative first and a democrat second. That's why he said that he didn't leave the democrat party and that the democrat party left him. Only Trump knows where his loyalties lie. What's good for Trump may not be what's good for the country. Words are hollow and actions speak louder than words. The last man elected to the office of president made a lot of promises that he didn't keep and Trump is very short on details.

We're voting for a politician, not a messiah. If you're waiting for the one who's free of sin and can cast the first stone, the Dems will always win.

I don't think you can say Trump is hollow. He's accomplished too much in his life to qualify for that title. Only the great pretender qualifies for that one. One thing about him I like also, he creates things, makes things, builds things, is there a building he owns that is sitting vacant or empty or not under construction? He may not be the nominee but I can't dismiss the guy because he speaks his mind and is sometimes crass and a little rude. Maybe that's what we need. Sure could of used that against the Iranians during this so-called joke of a treaty.

Speaking of that treaty, it's time to dust off and redecorate the fallout shelter. http://apnews.myway.com/article/2015...a5fc16728.html
