  • Boehner to step down end of October

    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politi...56f?li=BBgzzfc

About 5 years too late, now he can go crawl into a bottle. Probably the most spineless speakers we've ever had. Maybe he can go work for Obama now?

There's some others that need to go too in both parties. You think that maybe a movement could get started? We could only hope.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Yeah, he made Denny Hastert look like Tip O'Neill.

      Good riddance.

Maybe Cantor can get enough support to succeed that Oomploompa.

Strange, I always liked the guy. Couldn't get anything done cause of all the rest.

I loved the look on his face whenever he was behind the poser. You could see the pure hatred.

            A wise man I think.

I'd quit too though, life long full pay as house majority speaker, should be comfy.

I just hope they pick someone with some integrity and a big pair of brass ones to replace him. No RINOs need apply. Some one that will bring up a bill even if he thinks Obama will veto it, and quit guessing on the outcome before they even do anything.

Maybe we shouldn't come up with the bills because the Senate will not pass it and if they do, Obama will just veto it seems to be Boehner's approach to everything. I say bring the bills up to the Senate and the POTUS. Let the blame fall on those who didn't support it. What the public sees when the bills aren't even brought up is that the House is just sitting on their a$$ after promising us that they will get something done. Boehner should have been unseated a long time ago and Mitch had better take notice. Unlike the SCOTUS, their jobs aren't tenured.

Fully agreed. So what if the other guy probably has an Ace in his hand. There will be times when your 7 beats the 6 he actually has. Do the job, bring all the bills to the floor, count all the votes. Make the POTUS veto legislation if he wants to do so. Bring additional votes to attempt to overturn vetoes. Do the job!

Boehner was at best a weak pu$$y. At worst, he was complicit.
