This is all campaign talk. Things change once they are in office. There are people that voted for the "Assault Weapon" ban, that are now Pro Second Amendment? Really? or is that just during the campaign? Others have not been very good supporters of the 2nd amendment, but are now saying that they are behind it 100%.

Except for the Democrats that are at least honest on the issue and say yes, we want to get rid of all guns. Leaving us like Britain, unable to defend our homes, and our selves, I don't want to even think how bad crime would get if they outlawed guns. Britain may have few gun deaths, but they make up for it in stabbings and clubbings, and other forms of violent crime. They are usually ranked as the most violent nation of the European Union. I don't think we want that mess here. And the Australians tell a very sad story, of how crime went up, once they were forced to turn in their weapons. The Australian police even killed the man the "Crocodile Dundee" movies were based on because he refused too give up his guns. If the whole nation would have taken that attitude, the gun confiscation would not have been able to happen, but instead most of them lined up like sheep to turn in their guns. And NOW they are crying about it. When they should have taken a stand years ago. Brits are even calling for the right to own firearms again because the country has become so violent, with it's young punk thugs that prey on the old or weak, and all the Muslims killing people over some offense to islam. They will never get it, unless a war breaks out, then it will be like WWII, when they come begging us to supply them with guns so they can defend their homeland.
