The airport scenario is a PC thing. You can't pick and choose who the most likely terrorist might be, that would be unfair and non PC.
So it's like the whole race thing itself. You avoid the most likely subject to avoid being accused of profiling or being racist.

You let the dude with his bedding wrapped around his head pass and strip search the 97 year old lady in the wheelchair or the 20 year old complete 10 since that for sure isn't profiling.

It's political correctness that is on the side of ISIS and Terrorist the world over.

It's political correctness that will take us all down.

During WWII American citizens of Japanese descent were placed in relocation camps to safeguard the national security of our country. I don't see why we couldn't place the refugees into relocation camps for the duration of the war that ISIS has declared on us. That's a far more humane treatment than they are use to getting from their own government or their Muslim extremest brothers.

From what I understand, Roosevelt felt that if even one Japanese citizen was still loyal to Japan and committing acts of sabotage or espionage that it was justified to intern all the Japanese to keep American safe.

This means it is now confirmed that the ISIS attacks in Paris were the direct result of Europe's Syrian refugee program! A "refugee" snuck into Europe, gained access to Paris and then easily moved back and forth to Syria to coordinate the attack!

Because they aren't opinions. They are falsehoods dressed up as facts. And my "un-sourced math" was sourced in my previous post. But you probably couldn't be bothered to read that, right?

For instance: "Japan generally doesn't take immigrants, yet the bleeding hearts don't piss all over them for it." Actually, the "bleeding hearts" and lots of other folks have been on Japan for decades about their residency and citizenship policies.

OR: "You know you can't own a home in Mexico if your not a Mexican." Again, this is not true, it is just something someone who can't be bothered to look anything up for themselves is repeating. Foreigners (25% of all ex-pat Americans live in Mexico) can buy property outright in most of the country, and can buy property through a trust in the restricted zones that are within 100 km of a border.

And what business is it of theirs what the policies of another sovereign nation are? Who are they to tell the Japanese how they should run their country?

I spend a lot of time in Mexico and I have asked many people from American nationals to Mexican attorneys about property ownership in Mexico. I get several different answers to the same questions every time. Because of this, the bottom line for me is never.

As it turns out both Bawanna and Handy were partially correct. Which means that both were partially wrong. Only Muggsy is never wrong.


The Mexican Constitution prohibits direct ownership of real estate by foreigners in what has come to be known as the "restricted zone." The restricted zone encompasses all land located within 100 kilometers (about 62 miles) of any Mexican border, and within 50 kilometers (about 31 miles) of any Mexican coastline. However, in order to permit foreign investment in these areas, the Mexican government created the "fideicomiso," (FEE-DAY-E-CO-ME-SO) which is, roughly translated, a real estate trust. Essentially, this type of trust is similar to trusts set up in the United States, but a Mexican bank must be designated as the trustee and, as such, has title to the property and is the owner of record. The Mexican Government created the "fideicomiso" to reconcile the problems involved in developing the restricted zone and to attract foreign capital. This enabled foreigners, as beneficiaries of the trusts, to enjoy unrestricted use of land located in the restricted zone without violating the law.
