He is another Perot. He already said that if he didn't get the Republican nomination, he would consider an independent run. That will divide the Republican vote and allow a crook back into the whitehouse....only this time as president.

I completely agree, it's not a Democrat hit piece. It is a Republican establishment hit piece. Big difference. The Dems aren't nearly as concerned about Trump as the RINOs are.Originally posted by muggsy View PostThis isn't a democrat hit piece. It's a presentation of facts. Everyone of them is verifiable. I posted the piece and there is no one more conservative than I. The current occupant of the White House was long on promises and short on details and so is Donald Trump. All of you have an opportunity to vote for a true conservative in the primary. Go ahead and throw that opportunity away.

I suggest everyone read the biographies of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump and then tell me who you think is more qualified to lead our country and who has been the more consistently conservative candidate.

I have not decided who to vote for, but I have been looking at Trump and why he's causing such a groundswell of support. One conclusion that I've come to is that people who have been against Trump continue to look at him as a politician, therefore examining his past and his motivations from a purely political view. What I've come to realize is that Trump is indeed a businessman, not a politician. His past motivations were based on what he felt were the best moves for his various businesses at the time.
When I look at Trump the candidate now, he has made his "business" the United States. The things he's saying and doing may not be based in the soundest political saavy, but as a business leader running the largest "business" in the world his ideas make a lot of sense.
That being said, I do hope that he forgets all about the 3rd party run if he doesn't get the Republican nomination.

I agree the facts are verifiable and have no reason to doubt them. My point is that the manner in which they are presented is intended to scare Republicans away from Trump due to the described connections to Democrat supporters.Originally posted by muggsy View PostIt isn't a hit piece by either party. Conservative voters who truly want to take our country back from the ruling class do not mind a truthful statement of the record, and are unfazed but articles such as this.
Donald J. Trump for President 2016 !

I disagree. The information presented was to assist the voter in making an informed decision. You can ignore the facts, but that doesn't make them less true.Originally posted by OvalNut View PostI agree the facts are verifiable and have no reason to doubt them. Barrack Obama garnered a ground swell of support from people who thought that he was the second coming of Christ. It's up to each of us as voters to separate the wheat from the chaff.Originally posted by Ken L View PostI have not decided who to vote for, but I have been looking at Trump and why he's causing such a groundswell of support.
