I'm not for bailouts, but the gov could buy US oil at a price that keeps them in business, and add to the strategic reserve.

That's just corporate welfare - and the people would be outraged at subsidizing "Big Oil" like that.

The problem begins with our so-called ally Saudi Arabia, and also China.
