Rubio's stance (whatever it might be today) on the border issue demonstrates weakness on national security. Of course, Trump would be best. The biggest issue facing this country is the border. America is slowly but surely being taken over by mexico. Border issues are intertwined with national security, the economy and the American way of life.

The current regime (possibly even establishment repubs) are happy to add the US to the list of 3rd world countries for the purpose of control by the elite over the common folk like me. It's called socialism.

^^^ I think a lot of the support and opposition for Trump is based on emotions. But the more I dig for facts, the more I find that he might not be that bad a candidate. Cruz would still be better IMHO. I'm not done yet.

I think the biggest issue today is much deeper than the border. There are core problems that have been developing over decades that have led to our current state of affairs. Basically, the Government has spent too much time fiddling in areas where they don't belong. I tried to list them all but had to delete it. The list is very long.

            From TPNN.COM, Karl Rove speaking:
“The Cruz campaign, Spence Rogers, sends out a tweet. And the tweet is headlined, “Press says that Carson is going to take a break”… so tell all the Carson people to campaign with Cruz… At 7:53 the Carson people send out a release saying, “We’re here. We’re staying in the race. We’re going to New Hampshire and South Carolina.” And at 8:20 the national co-chairman of the Cruz campaign, Steve King, sends out a tweet saying, “It looks like Carson is getting out of the race.” Now they knew at this point that this was inaccurate.“The Cruz campaign, Spence Rogers, sends out a tweet. So I don't think Cruz's people were entirely blameless, when the kept up "Carson is out of the race" crap after they knew it wasn't true. Just more Campaign Politics as usual. Not really a big deal since Iowa is not a winner takes all the delegates state. Delegates are divided up according to how the vote goes.

Cruz just won a court ruling in Illinois where they were seeking to keep him off the ballot for not being a natural born citizen.
When it takes judicial activity, to declare that you are a natural born citizen, it seems to me like the candidate in question is not quite kosher.
It makes me wonder what the Democrats will have up their sleeves if Cruz wins the Nomination. Republicans seem satisfied to ignore all of Obama's questionable traits, such as his falsified Birth Certificate, and no real BC ever produced. And him using a Social Security number issued to an immigrant in Connecticut who died years ago, and Obama has never ever lived in Connecticut, so how did he get this SSN? The RINO's keep stonewalling Joe Arpaio, and preventing him from presenting his evidence to congress. Sounds like their puppet masters don't want to shake things up.
The Democrats on the other hand, will be on the attack. There aren't many DINOs. They most likely will make a major issue of it in their normal hypocritical way. With Trump there will be no question of his citizenship. With Trump you get what you get. He doesn't change much on his issues, with Trump you pretty much know what you are getting. He doesn't have to consult his staff before answering a question to see how it will go over in the polls, he doesn't care, he just answers the question. That's why he has such broad support, he isn't a typical politician, playing politician games. He may not be the best president ever, but I think he will surround himself with the best people he can find for the job in question. I hope whoever wins, offers all the military that Obama has purged their jobs back if they want them. I think Trump has the best chance at defeating the Democrat Nominee, since so many Democrats are supporting him. As well as other minorities, despite MSM distorting his statements. Cruz would make an excellent vice president, and then be in a great spot to launch his bid for the presidency in 2020 or 2024. I just don't see Americans switching from the extreme far left, to the far right in this election. I'm not sure Trump would run for a 2nd term, if he gets what he wants accomplished in one term, so that would put Cruz at the top of the candidates for 2020. The same Democrats that I talk too that support Trump, really dislike Cruz and the others. except Carson. I want to see the nominee selected with the best chance of winning, and that would appear to be Trump. Cruz is a fine candidate, but will he win? That is the question. Not whether he's more conservative, or he's this or that, but who can win the election.
