Ted Cruz "Natural Born" goes to court today

A judge will hear arguments on Friday from an Illinois voter alleging that Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz is not a "natural-born citizen" and should be disqualified for the party's nomination.

The biggest difference between Obama and Cruz, at least Obama had a "Birth Record" (real?) in a US state. Cruz's Birth Certificate is clearly Canadian. What Obama did provide was several states, including Illinois, enacted legislation for a more clear definition of "Natural Born". When McCain ran he had to prove he was born on US soil. They ruled that a US military base in Panama is US soil. Is having a mother who is a US citizen, work and live in another country, marry a non-US citizen, enough to be "Natural Born"?

I believe that the courts will rule that Ted Cruz is eligible to run for president. If not, my vote will go to Rubio. I will not vote for Donald Trump under any circumstance. IMHO Hillary Clinton would be a better choice not that I'd ever vote for her.

If Cruz is ruled out I will vote for Rubio or , preferably Carson. Just can't work up much trust in Trump. I hope my statements don't change the election outcome as my opinion is sooooo very important.

I always vote in every election. I don't always vote on every issue or for every office. Trump will not get my vote and 50% of the republican voters feel as I do. Here's something to think about.

I read that they delayed the hearing until March 1st. The first day the person that filed the lawsuit could get a day off of his job. It sounds like he just wants to get this question settled once and for all, so it doesn't bite Cruz in the butt should he get the nomination, and then the Democrats file suit.
