I think the whole appeal of trump is exactly what was laid out in those two lengthy articles earlier in this thread.
Non supporters say "but but hes not conservative"!
Nay sayers say "hes a scam artis he declared bankruptcy"!
And so on and so fourth but that is exactly why i support him we've had way too many "labeled" carrer politicians running the show for wayyyyyy too many years, and all they have done is attempt to fix problems by compounding new ones on top of the existing ones.
I want a problem solver, i do not care what label they have or how many compounded problems they have supported in the past.
I want someone smart, someone who sees a changing climate and can adapt successfully to it,
In the case of trump he sees a failing market and instead of dying with the sinking ship he declares bankruptcy and moves on with another venture, or sees a corrupt political leader accepting donations for favors and donates to get what he needs out of them.
That to me is not corrupt or con artist behavior, that is being smart and taking advantage of current political and business climate!
I don't post much in the kahr politics section but I'm pretty active in the calguns politics threads, ive said this there and ill say it here, while i do support trump if he does not get the nomination i will support whatever republican gets the nomination, not because i like their "label" or even their policy's but because a hillary presidency would be 4 years of the same or worse than we have now.
Cruz for me though at this point is more untrustworthy and childish than trump he is proving more and more each day that he is part of the political establishment problem with his dirty tricks and blame game with the wife bashing.
While i don't believe the new story from the enquirer until there are actual facts to back it up, his approach of not really denying it and trying to attack trump cements my opinion of him even more.
Sorry for crappin on the thread just wanted to get my 2c in...

Yeah possible, but in all honesty i think hillary fears facing trump more than cruz , despite these early polls.
Trump has been paying her off for favors for years, think about what Americans will think when he brings to light what he was able to pay almighty hillary to do.
Plus its becoming more and more evident that a rubio pac pushed the enquirer story.

He's so blatantly anti-trump, he causes a boomerang effect, driving more people to VOTE for Trump.
I love Levin, listen daily, but he's turning those on the fence like Muggsy, who's Cruz/Trump but not made up their minds 100%.
These are the ones that are now leaning to the Trump side.
Not my opinion.
But every time Trump says or does something he goes up, not down in popularity. It is 100% contradiction, but it's a fact.
Me, I will support either but no way John Kasich, The RINO Plant to undermine the people.
After Wi and NY both Cruz and Kasich probably have no path to win and are now merely spoilers and THAT will be the end of the GOP.

I still think Sanders was put there to make Hillary look rational and moderate, but it backfired. They thought he'd look like a wacko. But Hillary only looks horrible while Sanders, who at least articulates a simple point of view with extreme consistency, is bringing all the brainless idiots out of the woodwork.

Levin is a pure Constitutionalist ... always has been, and probably always will be. Cruz, whether many that don't know the facts, is a pure Constitutionalist, and has proven that to those of us in Texas with his SCOTUS appearances in 1A, 2A and 10A (winning) battles. Why would Levin NOT endorse Cruz. It's doubtful that trump has much more than a junior high school knowledge of the Constitution .... which should be at least in part a "litmus test" for one seeking the highest office in the country.

I have said repeatedly that I will vote for whomever is the Republican candidate. I am hearing more and more people say, including some of my family "If Trump doesn't get the nomination, I just won't vote!" Same said about Cruz. My Question: If it stays this way could someone tell me if they are going to come door to door to get our guns or will there be a central collection point ? Just wonderin'.

While its possible just based off of "anythings possible" i personally do not think even hillary will be able to physically confiscate our guns.
Think about what a monumental task that would be for quite frankly mostly unwilling agency's and LE to do so.
Now dont get me wrong i think the dems are constantly out for our guns they have been for years, but they would just simply legislate us out of them the way theyve been doing for years now especially in my state of ca.
Just slowly, surely and cowardly make more and more guns illegal, ammo unavailable, close down ranges/shooting areas and gun stores, practicly making it impossible or pointless to own firearms, in the hopes we will just give up!
Which i will never do, i personally will not stand for any form of government over stepping their bounds in that regard and CA is dangerously walking that boundry line lately!!!
