Gotta say, he answered questions directly, didn't obfuscate, it was like a conversation instead of a political interview. Think about all the stuttering and "Um, uh, uh... um..." that Obama is famous for, Trump doesn't do that.

I don't have time to listeng to the video right now; but I look forward to it later. In any event, Trump is the pragmatic common sense candidate, maybe not as conservative as Cruz, but I don't care. Although I cannot support rubio, I like Cruz as my second choice. A common problem with Cruz and rubio is that they are too young to have enough real life experience at their young ages.

So I'm watching the friendly questioning by Hannity in front of an audience made completely of Trumpsters. And Hannity asks "What are you going to replace Obamacare with?" And Trump answers "One of the things we must, and in all fairness Obama tried but the insurance companies got to him, but I'm self funding my own campaign with millions of dollars and I don't think I get enough credit for that." And everybody cheers.

Start at 7:59 Did I miss something, or was that his answer?

He said health savings accounts and competitive bidding from pharmaceutical companies. He's ignoring the insurance lobby. Then they moved along to another topic. "Obama would have gone to Scalia's funeral if it was at a mosque."

Trump answered the question of when he became a conservative by saying that he's always been a conservative. Anyone who has examined his record knows that isn't true. A conservative doesn't donate more that $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation or support Hillary for president. A conservative doesn't support people like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer. A true conservative doesn't use liberal talking points to disparage a former Republican president. A true conservative doesn't support a ban on assault weapons or Clinton's Omnibus Crime Bill. A true conservative doesn't support the individual mandate found in Obamacare. A true conservative doesn't support abortion on demand, including partial birth abortion, or donate to Planned Parenthood. A true conservative doesn't accuse people who point out what his record has been of lying when it's he himself is lying.

In one of the debates Trump stated that if he went after ISIS that he would take the oil. When has the United States ever fought a fascist war of aggression in order to steal the natural resources of another country? Every war that we ever fought in was fought against tyranny and in defense of freedom. We have always rebuilt the nations that we have destroyed. Trump isn't a conservative. Trump is a loose cannon.

"Common Sense." From the beginning Ovomit, Hitlery and Bloomerberg have trumpeted for "common sense" gun laws. Trump is a "common sense" conservative -----. 2+2=4 is common sense. Not 2+2=3 or 5 or whatever is politcally correct.

I know it when I see it.

Build a wall, and deport the undocumented border crossers. That is common sense.
Stop musilim immigration into this country until they can be properly vetted is common sense.
Profiling is common sense.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck, is common sense.

Common sense also involves a pragmatic approach to issues.

I see. This then makes Trump a pragmatist. He tells the truth, goes after problems head on and comes up with the most direct approach. Not necessarily common sense as in our brave new PC world some libtard, or group of, will put a foot right in the middle of his pragmatism. What it looks like is we need a King that totally agrees with our outlook. Problem solved.

Common sense is knowing that a man who has been a liberal democrat for more that 40 years doesn't suddenly become a conservative republican over night.
