I hadn't heard of him either. I ran across him talking on a program last night and thought he had some good things to say. I looked at his web site some, and it says something about some former Reagan supporters that were unhappy with the status quo, of both parties, starting up this America's Party, and drafting Tom Hoefling as their candidate for President.
I thought him being a Christian Conservative, he might appeal to some of those unable to vote for the other Nominees, and might as well pick up that vote if you are so inclined.

I think part of the reason the party was formed was discontent with the Republican party, and politics as usual. Just as the Whigs were replaced, by the Republican Party, I think they would like to replace the Republicans with America's Party. Probably won't happen, but maybe they can become a strong alternate to those that don't feel comfortable in either of the existing parties.

The trouble with any third party is it takes the much needed to beat Democraps vote for whoever is running for the Republicans.

That's primarily why the dems win so often. We need every one of the 47%er's (losers) votes.

I understand what you are saying. However if the choices are Hitlery or Trump I will once again have to vote for the perceived lesser of two evils. Tired of doing that. If our only choice is between these two tyrants I am seriously considering writing in Dr. Ben Carson. Wrong? Maybe so, but at least it will be a statement of my disgust with the whole clown show. Hitlery or Trump? A Socialist or a loose cannon who can change directions at a moments notice. Either way we loose again.

Just another vote splitter. We got Clinton from Perot, now we get another Clinton because of the disaffection of conservative voters. With few exceptions (eg: Reagan), ALL politicians we vote for are the lesser evil.

At least Trump is qualified to be a chief executive.

No I am not "another" vote splitter. I was just vocalizing my disgust with the RINO party of which I have been a member since Jimmy C.'s presidency. I have stated clearly in earlier posts I will vote for whichever candidate the Republicans decide to run. My vote is nothing more than a statement anyway as the Pres is elected before my states votes are even counted. Who knows. In case of a tie my vote may actually be counted and keep Hitlery out of the White House. Looks like we will either have a Barnum&Baily sideshow, a Canadian or a Cuban. What a system!!!!!

He a patriot, a great father and a solid conservative. The problem being that he only garnered 40,624 votes or .03% of the vote in the last election.
