Trump, Cruz & Rubio. Three adolescents playing in a sand box. Total chumps for the media games being played. Can't tell which one of the kiddies I support the most. I still like Dr. Carson but he doesn't jump up and down waving his arms and accusing the others of evil enough to be noticed. Adulthood and brain power doesn't mean much in this election cycle. Anybody got a three sided coin to flip? Looks like our choices will be between Hitlery and ?. Guess I will support ?.

Trump set the tone of these debates. Carson is a good man, but he hasn't found a way to compete for attention. Instead of asking for someone to attack him he should start doing a little attacking of his own, but that's not his style. Politics is a dirty business.

My #1 choice is Cruz followed by Rubio, but don't vote to make me happy. Vote to secure your future. Cruz is a rock solid conservative who defended our second amendment rights in front of the Supreme Court and won. He's a man who won't compromise on his core conservative values. That's why the establishment republicans can't stand him. Rubio is a close second, but a bit weak on illegal immigration.

I agree! Vote for Trump if you like cutesy slogans .... Obama had those too .... remember ... HOPE AND CHANGE with no substance and so many were in lala land over getting HOPE AND CHANGE. Trump's slogan is MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN .... who could disagree with that? EXCEPT he has no substance with his slogan [ just like Obama didn't]. Trump is in it for Trump and his ego. He is no dummy, he is a good marketer. So many people like to ramble on about stuff .... hopefully all that seriously care will be out at the primary and or local caucus's to back up their feelings. I know I will be ..... and I am a teller/vote counter .... hmmmm ....maybe I can tweek things like the dems do?

As for disincentivizing immigration, if you were King of Mexico what would you do to make people want to stay in Mexico?

If I were president of the United States I would would get all of the illegals to self-deport within a year. I'd have congress pass a law that if someone was found to be in this country illegally after a certain date that they'll do five years at hard labor in prison before being deported. The minimum mandatory sentence for an illegal immigrant committing a felony would be twenty years at hard labor. I'd make it impossible for immigrants to find employment without a green card. I would stop all forms of government assistance to illegals. I would make it impossible for an illegal to get a drivers licence. I would threaten any public official with imprisonment for failing to uphold the federal laws on illegal immigration. There would be no sanctuary cities in the United States. We don't need to build no fokking wall. What we need to do is start enforcing the immigration laws that are already on the books. I'm Muggsy and I approve this message.

I've been a strong Cruz supporter for 8-10 years at least as far back as when he was Solicitor General (Top lawyer) for the State of Texas. Cruz has sent dozens (actually I thing over 100) briefs to the Supreme Court, argued 9 cases before the Supreme Court (and won 7?) .... including Second Amendment, cases involving protection of the 10 Commandments, state's rights issues, etc.

Yep, I'm a firm believer in Ted's abilities. But, I usually tend to feel "invisible" here at Kahr Talk, so I don't try to offer much anymore.
