I've been saying to check Heidi's background before any minds are made up. And don't say we are electing a president, not his wife. Wanna bet? Still not sold on any of them yet. Leaning toward Cruz for lack of anyone better. But? Wisconsin voting should be interesting.

What our federal government should preside over is expressly delineated by our constitution. The Federal government in many cases has overstepped it's bounds. Our founding fathers warned us that unless we voted for men of principle and high moral standards that our freedom and republic would be lost. Donald Trump isn't a man of principle or high moral standards. He appeals to the lowest common denominator in our society. He isn't a conservative or a republican. At best Donald Trump is a scam artist.

Ben Franklin was a womanizer but he had principal, and many of the founding fathers were rich business people who were in it for themselves too, John Hancock for example. But when the king got to be a jerk and refused to recognize the people as citizens they joined together to overthrow the current system, funding it at times with their own money. Hmmmm..... that sounds like a plan. Now if folks let a new "Queen" get elected by sitting home or obtaining because their favorite candidate didn't win the nomination we deserve whatever we get. And watch out if the GOP prevents Trump or Cruz from getting it even though they are the PEOPLES choice. We may get a Queen after all.

In sumnary, get everyone you know out and vote against the witch regardless.

You're putting words in my mouth. I'm merely pointing out that your Nevertrump blinders are keeping you from seeing that he's no different from any other candidate.

I'm sure if I searched I'd find some Cruz gaffes that would make you gag. Why does he come across as a slimy bible salesman to some people? Is that your idea of a real man? Why was his wife on the Council on Foreign Relations, one of the "Rule the world" cadres that's pushing us toward disintegration?

Every candidate is different John. We're all individuals. Cruz has done exactly what he said he would do from the moment that he joined the Senate. Don't lump Cruz in with the establishment or RINO republicans. He is who he says he is and has proven that many times over. Trump has proven who he is by having his clothing line manufactured overseas and his phony college bilking young people out of millions and cheating on his wives.

Thanks for the links. I am still trying to form a solid opinion on the candidates. I realize my opinion has a very strong effect on the outcome of this election so I must be careful.

Saw Mr. Priebus on the news this morning. He insured the Republican candidate would be from the three leaders in the race right now. No "dark horse" thrown in at the last minute. If Trump wins Wisconsin it will cause Megan Kelly to roll up in a ball like a spider sprayed with Raid. Could be funny. (Gotta find some humor in this disaster of an election cycle.)

I don't see where SHE did anything wrong... a successful business woman who made sacrifices to help further her husband's political future. I sure don't fault her religious background and her family's medical/missionary-type work to help the poor. Everyone is born into a family, if they're lucky... a good one. You don't get to make every choice in your life.

I'm more concerned with Ted Cruz's stooping to Trump's level in the "fratricidal debates".

Muggsy ... personally, I don't think that the federal government has any place at all in "ruling" on cases of morality in general, other than those issues specifically outlined in the Constitution. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are the basic foundation followed by the basic establishment of the governing body, and by force from various states came the Bill of Rights (first ten amendments). The preamble of "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness", in my opinion (and apparently yours) specifically speaks to abortion "on demand for convenience" as being murder, if like me, one understands that life itself begins at conception. That is why this issue has yet to be resolved .... in this lifetime.

I don't care one bit what trump's response or answer is from one minute to the next on this "issue", knowing it's just going to play to his audience for the moment. I have my core beliefs and principles, and would hope that others do as well.
