Donald Trump has finally revealed how he intends to make Mexico pay for the wall. It's such a simple plan and I don't know why someone has never thought about it before. Donald say that he not going to allow the illegal immigrants to send money home to their families in Mexico and that's going to pay for the wall. I only have one question. If he deports all of the illegal immigrants like he says he will how is that going to work? I don't know about you, but I don't think that his wall is going to be huge and I doubt seriously that the Mexicans are going to pay for it. They can barley pay for their re-fried beans and ruining what little economy that they have will only bring more of them into this country. Trump has given about as much thought to this issue as he has to the issue of abortion. The man is a mental midget. (I mean little person.)

That's a pretty target for reduction, and if they don't like it they can build their own wall. But they cry like a baby if the US even yells at them. Perhaps you may want to consider if you had a next door neighbor dealing drugs out of their house and other things that Mexico does. 13 billion to 30 billion(depending who writes the report) in drug money goes south to Mexico every year. Mexico doesn't put a gun to our heads demanding that money. Time to rethink our drug policies here in the U.S. I think we can afford a wall if that is what we want --need to make some changes here. Be careful what you wish for though, you might get it. I think what people here really need is a non welfare state in the U.S. If that happens then the border is a non issue. We need the cheap labor to support our economy and Mexico needs our drug money as part of their GNP(sic). Its a symbiotic relationship.

Agreed....................we've been doing way too much for those a holes. If a wall isn't built, things will become much worse than they are now. With the total corruption in that country, with law enforcement and gov't officials on the take, there is no hope for these people. Money has been set a side by our gov't 3 times, for a wall of some sort. 3 times it has been pissed away by the last 2 President's. We need a wall, I don't particularly care how they find the money, just do it. It can be done. People act like this is some impossible task. I saw a tv special about how it is down there. They even catapult people over the wall. We need a tall wall, something that would cause deadly injury if you tried to catapult. Deadly electrification throughout, below ground and above. That is the first step. If Trump could stop payments back home from illegals(?) I would be all for it. I have to say, the man has some interesting ideas...............if they could be turned in to reality, I'd be all for it. If he just wasn't such an................................................ ......

The Mexican government could tap the drug cartels for an annual half billion easily but the cartels are much more powerful. An attempted move like that could result in El Presidente being treated to an acid bath. The government's got the right idea, they get foreign aid money, additional money and military aid to fight the cartels, money from the cartels to leave them alone, all of which disappears into powerful pockets while they clean out their country of people who can't support themselves by helping them cross the border to be supported by us. It's no secret that the Mexican government will not be paying for any border fence. That's just another campaign promise that Trump makes but can't possibly keep to gather votes.

Whatever plan anyone has the only ones talking about attacking the illegal immigrant problem (the one that the Dem's now call "Undocumented Immigrants" because "Illegal" may hurt their feelings) are Trump and Cruz

If we stop giving Mexico foreign aid their economy will be poorer and more of their people will be illegally entering our country. Trumps estimates of the cost of the wall don't come close to what the actual costs would be. In some places the would have to build roads to bring in the materials and construction equipment to build the wall. Mexico has the same problem on their southern boarder with illegal drugs and illegal Guatemalan immigrants crossing their borders. Do you fault the Mexicans for trying to uphold their laws? Sounds like a rather liberal position to take. The Marine who crossed their boarder was carrying weapons that were illegal to possess in Mexico. Shame on him.

Mexican drug cartels couldn't sell one nickles worth of drugs in this country it the wasn't for the a-holes who want to buy them. We could end the drug problem tomorrow and put the cartels out of business by just saying no. Of course there are those a-holes who believe that it's their body and their right to put anything that they want in it. I have nothing but praise for those entrepreneurs who take advantage of their stupidity.

Is it a requirement for the Repub candidates to be whining crybabies or are they doing on their own. The last two elections were handed to the Dems. We can't even agree on this forum let alone come together as a country. In the last two presidential elections the majority of the people elected a first class BS artist. Here we go again. Promises, promises. Has anyone thought what it would take to build that wall? To initiate a flat tax nation wide? To change the present health care system? Free college education for everyone? Anybody remember you can't do any of that with "executive action". There is a small hitch in all of this called congress. I'm just going to vote Republican whoever gets the nomination. And hope for the best. (But not expect it.)

I'd like to see a link to "the plan."

It's NOT just illegals who send money "back home." It's legal immigrants as well. If you tax the money, you can collect some of it. If you tax it high enough, you discourage it or drive it underground. So, if that money stays in the US, it's probably a good thing for all of us. If the money flows south, I doubt much of it comes back here. What do we export to Mexico other than jobs?

I heard Trump say recently, referring to the paid protesters at his rallies, that he's creating new jobs and he's not even president yet.

Pat Buchanan said this morning that he thinks the GOP is using Cruz to get rid of Trump, and that they'll get rid of Cruz at the convention. The "establishment" can deal with Ryan just fine, or Hillary, pretty much the same thing except Paul Ryan is probably less likely to confiscate our guns.

Cruz is feeling the love, he better get ready to receive it in the rectum.
A senator claimed if Cruz was dying on the senate floor nobody would come to his aid....

It's a real Charley Foxtrot alright. The best oputcome I hope for is the public push Trump into candidacy as they did Reagan. If Hillary takes it from Bernie with her Super Delegates I look for Bernie supporters to vote for Trump in November.
