  • Do the math ...

You need 1237 delegates to snag the Republican nomination.

Cruz has 491, and 835 remain. Trump is favored to win all 95 New York delegates.

That would make 740 remaining delegates.

Cruz with 491, taking 100 percent of the 740 would be out, mathematically impossible to snag 1237.

So Cruz and Kasich would fall into the "hopefull at the convention" category.

OTOH.... Trump would have his current 743, plus the 95 equaling 838, needing 389 of the remaining 740.

Not easy, but doable for Trump.

Disclaimer: Not an operation False Flag post.

That's the math. But it doesn't look as though Trump is going to get there before the convention and he's way behind in organizing for a convention fight. Cruz is focused on winning not just primaries and caucuses, but DELEGATES. Kasich - I think he's running for veep, maybe. Here's a cool article on the process:

Well he aint done such a good job with delegates so far!

Nobody runs at the convention for veep. They run because they're promised something else, something... under the radar, yet juicy. Kasich has been promised something in return for defeating Trump. Kasich has had no fundraising goin on? Where's his money coming from, hmmm?

Cruz has taken delegates that should have gone to The Donald and Trump and his minions are still whining about it.

The same poll doesn't show Cruz doing so well against her either. I've seen others that say he doesn't have a chance against her. Some polls show Kasich can beat her handily. Take these polls for what they are worth. I still support Cruz but am not so sure he can swing the dissolutioned Dem vote away from Hitlery or bring the past non voting conservatives out as well as Trump can.

When Cruz becomes the nominee and the country hears him speak sans lyin' Trump the polls will change and conservatives will turn out in droves.

If Cruz gets it I fear there aren't enough of us left after the last 8 years to vote for him but I hope Im proved wrong and you are right.

We don't even know that the convention would give it to Cruz of Trump but if they don't we're doomed for sure.

For Republicans who live in Indiana: your primary is the whole ball of wax.

Trump is NOT inevitable. He's going to win a lot today, but that doesn't make him the nominee. If Trump wins in Indiana, he'll be nominated on the first ballot. But if Cruz wins in Indiana, and goes on to at least keep it close in California, there will be a second ballot and Cruz has the advantage.

Just sayin, if you're in Indiana, don't stay home next Tuesday (May 3). Right now, it looks like Cruz by a whisper

but its still a week away and projections are fluid, momentum from tonight might change the picture there.

I've been watching the Indianapolis 500 since I was about ten years old. In sixty years I can't remember them waving the checkered flag until the winner crossed the finish line. Trump hasn't won a thing until he has officially been named the presidential candidate of the republican party.
