I expect to see much more of this kind of insanity when Hitlery takes over next January along with attacks on ammo manufacturers...If you want an AR you have a little over 8 months left to get one before it's too late....

Communist judge in a communist state. A pacifier for the Bloomberg minions. Don't think it'll get far but if it does semi-auto pistols will be right behind. All manufacturers had better pay attention though. Ambulance chasing lawyers would be all over it like stink on liberals. They are also going after Exxon "like they did the tobacco companies". Get ready for $10 a gallon gas as Ovomit promised. I don't condone smoking but am I supposed to believe the Gov't gives a rats a&& about my health?

I find it continually frustrating that our Constitution and Bill of Rights seem to be open to interpretation...or manipulation. I find it infuriating that someone so opposed to our Constitution could qualify to run for the office sworn to protect and serve it (not to mention the doofus holding the office now). And how the hell does a sworn Socialist qualify to run???? And we're all bickering about whether or not Trump is "Republican" enough. Smoke and mirrors IMHO.

      end rant.

The suit won't go anywhere. Should Ford be held responsible for the actions of Bonnie and Clyde for their misuse of his product in their robberies? Don't sweat it.

^^^ agreed. The suit is not the real problem. It's that the Democratic front-runner for the highest office in the land would grandstand a position that is so deeply wrong.

I really don't pay much attention to lawsuits like this because I always believe that some level-headed judge will rule intelligently.

What I don't understand is the logic used in the argument. A legally purchased item was used by an insane person to commit a heinous crime. What is the argument for how the manufacturer is at fault?

Precisely weedhopper. I don't get where it can even come into question. I saw today where a judge said an alleged Sandy Hook multiple parent lawsuit against Bushmaster can move forward. I thought judges had positive IQ's. I know they all were at one time lawyers which is completely contradictory but still. Where's the logic.

I sell you a sledgehammer and you cave in somebodies head with it, can the family sue me for selling you the sledgehammer?

Awww, wait,,,,maybe we need background checks for sledgehammers????? Could that be it.

Hillary supports the theory that these lawsuits are sound and should be allowed.....

Lawyers. Our institutions of higher learning are extruding them by the dozen. Gotta have something to do. They will take those chumps for a fortune and then go back to suing McDonald's because their coffee is too hot.
