Is that the one bound for Canada, full of Nevertrumpers?

I think we're doomed. Now Paul Ryan is leading the party not endorsing him along with both Bushes. Many won't even attend the convention. That's team spirit. Inter party lack of support.

Just like has happened in the past. Get ready for Hillary.

Does that train to Canada have a regular schedule and is it wheelchair accessible?

Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
      Cue sound of Head slap.

The short sightedness of the republican establishment is astounding. I didn't really expect them to cut off their nose to spite their own face, but it sure looks like it's happening. If the conservative's pick isn't good enough for the republican party, then the representatives of the republican party aren't good enough for conservative voters.

If the establishment doesn't like the voter's choice and in turn tanks this election, S is gonna hit the fan and they are gonna wish Trump was what they had to worry about!

Trump is the tip of the iceberg of what the fed up voters are capable of!!

"The establishment" doesn't pick the nominees. Local voters, in caucuses and primaries that are all regulated by their state and county rules, vote for and select the nominees. The "rules" for the national convention were set in 2012, before Trump, Cruz, Carson or anyone else had a gleam in their eye about this election. It is apparently "fed up voters" who have brought us what we have at this point. All of the demagoguery of the Republican party and their "selecting" an establishment candidate has been something fed to an eager media. That is they type of thing that brings viewers into the news. A fair, impartial process is nothing to report on.

That's my point. The voters are getting what they want. The Republican Party is not.

"Give us the House and the Senate and we will reign these Democrats in. We will repeal Obama Care, we will balance the budget, we'll yada, yada, yada". The "WE" sat on their fat a$$e$ and didn't even try. Whimper, whimper. Yeah. The conservative voters are fed up. Before, the Republicans had the Administration, House and Senate. What did they do. Sat on their fat----. Oh well. Now they are willing to hand the Presidency to Hillary out of spite? Yeah, Trump could be the least of their problems.

                  Yep.

Since he knows all the dirt on Trump, maybe Hillary or Bernie hired him as an advisor.

Alfonse, that is not correct, and I endear you recheck your position on that.

In fact, the parties do pick the nominees. In a traditional sense, they accept more or less limited "input" from the voters. In some cases no input from the voters! Some states parties have set rules that make the votering party members the arbiter of the successful nominee. Other states have some degree of floating delegates, which are selected by the party (establishment). And in other states, the party (establishment) selects all the conventional delegates. The rules are not made by the states and counties, but by the party (establishment) of each state.

I don't think he has any crow to eat YET! He could still be correct in his extremely negative reviews of Trump.

Frankly at this point I'm rapidly losing hope that he will win. The party infighting is going to doom us again.
I don't care how bad he might be, he'll be a whole bunch better than Hillary.

Just glad I don't work for the Secret Service, I can't imagine going to work protecting Hillary, course I've said the same thing about the current poser in chief.

Well, I have to say Muggy's adamantly standing for Cruz was for good reason so you have to admire that. Cruz didn't make it and neither did Muggsy. Lost to his illness.

RIP muggsy. You'll be missed and I pray peace for your family during this time.
