This has so far been a breakthrough election. While I really don't think any of the three remaining candidates will make the best president*, we are proving that our votes matter. We are pushing back against the mainstream political machinery. And that's a step in the right direction. Imagine, if by some miracle, Sanders were able to steal the nomination away from Clinton. Both parties will have to accept that the people will no longer tolerate their manipulations.
Step 2 is to educate the public so that we are pushing for the right things: those principles outlined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We need to regain control of our education system. And it too will be a groundswell effort. I suggest home school. Imagine if school enrollment dwindled to nothing because everyone was taking responsibility for their own child's education.
Step 3? I haven't thought that far yet. Maybe eliminate the Fed, EPA, IRS, etc. But those can only happen after we actually restore the system's ability to elect great leaders.
*and at least two of the candidates will make horrendous presidents.
