Indeed, I believe more and more people do. I think with the Orlando shooting, the administration really jumped the shark with their "no Islam to see here" response. Like with Benghazi, they tried to blame something else. Not a Youtube video, but blaming his being gay. The people may be dumb, but we're not stupid.Originally posted by deadeye View PostI believe Ovomit is telling the truth about being the most transparent administration in history. I disagree. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voters. The last few decades are proof.Originally posted by JohnR View PostIndeed, I believe more and more people do. "The sister of the U.S. ambassador to Libya killed in Benghazi said she doesn't blame Hillary Clinton for Chris Stevens' death, instead pointing to Congress for under-budgeting the State Department."I do not blame Hillary Clinton or Leon Panetta (for Stevens' death). They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world," Dr. Anne Stevens, who has acted as a spokesperson for the family, said in an interview with the New Yorker published Tuesday."

Hillary Clinton to Blame for Chris Stevens’ Death in Benghazi Attack? His Family Weighs In…
BY MIKE MILLER (1 DAY AGO) | TERRORISM

On the same day that the House Select Committee on Benghazi released its final report, the sister of Ambassador Chris Stevens spoke out about the terrorist attack that killed her brother.
Dr. Anne Stevens answered the question that many Americans have asked — and answered — themselves:“Whom do you fault for the lack of security that resulted in the death of your brother, in Benghazi?”While the House report did not directly lay blame at the feet of Hillary Clinton, a supplemental report from House Republicans did just that.
But Dr. Lane not only fully absolves Clinton of any fault, she blames Congress for “under-funding” the State Department:“It is clear, in hindsight, that the facility was not sufficiently protected by the State Department and the Defense Department. But what was the underlying cause? However, here’s what the House report said, as reported by CNN:
Perhaps if Congress had provided a budget to increase security for all missions around the world, then some of the requests for more security in Libya would have been granted. Certainly the State Department is under-budgeted.
I do not blame Hillary Clinton or [former CIA Director] Leon Panetta. They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world. And their staffs were doing their best to provide what they could with the resources they had.
The Benghazi Mission was understaffed. We know that now. But, again, Chris knew that. It wasn’t a secret to him. He decided to take the risk to go there. It is not something they did to him. It is something he took on himself.”
The House Benghazi Committee report doesn’t directly blame Clinton […] But it does suggest she and other administration officials did not adequately address the risks involved.Clinton told the Benghazi Committee last year that while she was aware of the dangers in Libya, “there was no actionable intelligence” indicating a planned attack. Apparently the committee didn’t buy it:
The report stresses that intelligence was available [to Clinton] suggesting an attack was possible and she and a top aide, Patrick Kennedy, should have realized the risks posed to the Benghazi mission by extremist groups.
It is not clear what additional intelligence would have satisfied either Kennedy or the Secretary in understanding the Benghazi mission compound was at risk — short of an attack. In related news, Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy skewered the Obama Administration on Tuesday over its claim that it could not have arrived at the consulate in time to save Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, former Navy SEALs working with the CIA in Benghazi.

That's not to say she's not under any pressure to make such cold, heartless statements, given her brother tortured by his attackers.... an electrical cattle prod in your rectum while alive is an unthinkable and despicable act.
