One thing I can't understand. These Cali politicians are doing everything they can creating their idea of Utopia, yet their citizens are fleeing the state. Unfortunately, they are fleeing to other states and bringing these same ideas with them. Used to be when Texans came to Colorado they were despised. Now, the Texans are very much welcomed and the Cali's are despised. I hate what the have already done and continue to do in this state. Well, not the state but the front range.

            knkali,

Can you educate me? What does "going 80%" refers to?

It is SO sad to see what California has "progressively" become over the past 40 years.

Sure. Thanks for asking. 80% is buying either a pistol or lower AR receiver that is 80% complete. The purchaser has to finish it and assemble the weapon. This way there are no serial numbers and no way the G can track you/it. It is currently legal to do this but for how long is the next question. I guess ultimately, this too will be banned and a felony charge will ensue if caught with a serial number free firearm.

So far looks like $15 to register my AR as a AW. Not a lot of money but a step in the wrong direction for sure
Hcap mags...$100 fine first offense then 250 then 500. Molon Abe.
Ammo....looks like Nevada will be getting some ammo sales revenue in the future.

As sad as it may be I have to agree with you. From what I'm hearing the NRA is backing Paul Rino's gun control vote next week. When questioned about this bill a Democrap Senator said they know this ONE bill will not prevent terrorism. Nobody asked him how many more it would take. I believe he let the cat out of the bag. No one even picked up on it. Why can't "conservatives" understand you don't compromise with Progressives? Give them one drop of blood and they immediately go for a gallon. I wrote to NRA asking if this were true. Haven't heard back. This is the one reason I won't become a lifetime member. Hope I'm wrong.

I for one would not register an AR if I had one. I'd also not give up any high cap magazines. Course I also would not live in California on a bet.

I maintain we get all our members out of California. Then build a big beautiful wall, it will be beautiful with big beautiful one way doors.

People can go in all they want but once in, no getting out as your mind is poisoned.

Shouldn't be any problem adding a few miles to the border wall and we'll make Jerry Brown pay for it.........

Anybody with hi cap mags that feels the urge to turn them in, send them up. I'll sell them for you at whatever I can get in the free states and even send you the money.

The sad part is the stupid stuff that happens in California bleeds over into the other states.
Your legislatures want to impose your same idiotic crap on everybody.

I'll be in my bunker, bring it.

I manage a local gun range with a very nice pro shop. I am not looking forward to setting up another government controlled program to sell ammunition to members. Maintaining our FFL in California is enough of a pain in the ass with all the restrictions on firearms here.

The previous shortages of ammo, reloading powders and primers are going to appear trivial when compared to the crap that is about to hit the fan in California now!

My deepest sympathy to the gun-owners of California who are suffering restrictions on their rights by the very liberal State government in which they live. This is the consequence of living in essentially a liberal, one-party State dedicated to separating gun-owners from their guns a step at a time.
