The 2nd Ammendment

The Second Ammendment is the guarantor of all our other rights. One only needs to read the writings of many of the founding fathers who explain why that right was put in place...it wsan't by accident.
Also read the artical that discusses when a Government no longer serves the needs or will of the people....we have the right to abolish said corrupt Government and impliment a new one even if neccessary by means of force of arms. Now go chew on that one for a minute.
A phrase comes to mind in an oath I took as an Army Officer and our illustrious elected officials..." to support and defend the Constitution against all ememies both forgein and domestic".

Our damn congressional elected officials were never originally intended to be a full time job. Absolute power corrupts absolutley!!!!

Oh, believe me.... both parties can take the blame here. On the day after every election, the winners form their RE-ELECTION committee.
