Good question. I committed to "attend," whatever that entails. I guess it will mean a visit to my LGS. Perhaps a visit to the local range, too.

I'm going to a gun show on the 19th. I'm hoping to find that gun show loop hole that they are always talking about.

Me, too. There's one here at the Fairgrounds, and a couple more next month. I'll keep an eye out for a deal on a 7.62x51mm or 7.62x39mm semi-auto squirrel rifle and some standard 20 to 30-round capacity mags... not really crazy about buying something I can't really shoot around here, though. I'd prefer something with great penetration and good for at least 150 yards... about the limit around here for line of sight... at objects on the ground.

I did see some armor-penetrating ammo for 12-gauge online that might suffice for my only semi-auto long gun... other than my 10/22... kind of pricey, though, and not sure it would cycle in my shotgun.

I haven't seen it myself yet but wife says Washington state is now offering a gun buy back program. Any gun, no questions asked you get a 100 dollar Amazon gift card, some guns even as much as 200 per gun.

They said they aren't sure this will have any effect on the bad guys.

Amazon apparently donated a couple hundred grand to fund the program.

Lock your **** up Scoundrel residential burglaries usually skyrocket during these wonderful programs.

Almost as good as the guns for Big Macs deal a few years ago.

I gotta go see if I got anything worth a 100 bucks.

Oh by the way bye bye Amazon..................

Good luck at the gun show. I went to one in San Antonio last weekend looking for 223 ammo. It started at 9, at 9:05 there was already a line a football field long. I turned around and went back to Austin.

Today's lesson, get there a good hour early...
