How many rounds do you need

Saw this on the news this morning, a guy swinging a machete the cops showed up hit him with a taser. That still did not stop him as thing got heated up they finally had to fire, thirteen cases were found on the ground and they still had to force this guy to the ground. and I ask you how many rounds do you need?

As many as necessary. Sometimes one will do and sometimes a few dozen isn't enough.

Thirteen cases on the ground? They probably actually hit him once or twice maybe 3 times.

Actually I was referring to the mag limits that are trying to force on alot of us.Yes with one good placed shot you can stop a man but with that said under stress you very well may not have well placed shots and you need more rounds to stop a threat.And of course caliber will also contribute to the hitting power of the round.Now they said thirteen cases where on the ground didn't say how many hits there where.Still like 45acp myself

FIVE .45's to the head? Where did the shots hit? I can imagine that if the shots were hitting down around the jaw area and missing the brain or spinal cord, but you'd think it would still pretty much take the fight out of a guy. What is "dusted"? Is that that "Angel Dust"? I've heard stories of people on that doing some amazing stuff after they should been dead or in shock when on that crap.
That doesn't seem to make the news much lately, now it seems that most of the dopers they catch are on meth or oxycontin.

Angel Dust is alive and well but you are right. Its use has steadily declined since the 90's
