Thanks Itxi, I wanted so bad to point out how hilarious this is but I've been accused of being an alarmist tinfoil hatter lately so I was trying to keep a low profile.

I can just see the drills now. Ok children we have an active shooter, every one grab your white boards and assume the position, under your desk and don't forget to stop, drop and roll if you catch on fire from the muzzle flash.

        Insane
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Might be alright if the teacher was using it to steady their 9 or .45.

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Laughable. It won't stop a 5.56 and would only delay the inevitable if the shooter was armed with a pistol. You have to stop a shooter with a bullet.

Back in the day....it was drop to the floor and crawl under your school desk to protect yourself from the nuclear blast. One hell of a lot cheaper and just as effective.

And of course the threat of nukes came from the Presbyterians. Who could forget that.

Anybody else have them desk all one piece with the seat with a little cupholder for your ink jar? How you suppose to hide under something like that?

Just had to make sure your head be under the seat to protect it from the blast. Best chance of surviving to at least be useful as third base.
