Having been born and raised there, I can tell you that unless it effects them personally New Yorkers are a bunch of blind sheep that can't be bothered.
I have a sister in law there that says she and most New Yorkers are thankful for Bloomburg' s stop and frisk policy. She says it keeps them safe.

My wife has always been a fighter and her sister once was. But she grew older and became a product of her environment. Last time they were here all my brother in law wanted to do was shoot, and film it to show his friends. I did a lot of reloading while they were here
