            I'm subscribed to this thread and got a notification that Muggsy said the Steve Martin is dead. It's possible that he deleted the post before I saw it.

            Sometimes people die, but I heard that Jackie Chan had died... a hoax... and not too long ago I heard that Betty White had died, but she's still accepting awards and Wikipedia doesn't list her as dead, either.

                    I googled it and apparently Steve Martin is the latest victim of fake celebrity deaths. He is alive and doing well.
