Posting a video

How can I post some videos from u-tube. I didn't realize it could be done until recently

I think you can just copy the address of the video and paste it in your post and it'll show up.

Just like any other link. I'm certainly no expert on the matter, too many moving parts for me.

That's how I did it in the past and all that came up was the link . I saw where Greg posted the actual u-tube video
There's this in the advanced mod but it doesn't work for me.

It says to wrap these tags around some selected text


This is what I get

Copy the address in your navigation bar. It'll have the word "watch" in it.

At the top of the control bar in the reply box here, select the second last icon. When you mouse over it, it'll say insert video.

Paste that copied address in the popup box.

If you click on the "Go Advanced" button at the bottom of the reply box, you can preview the video you're inserting.

I better write it down. Well maybe I should learn how to make a video first. Man what if I go viral, could I live with such fame?

EdM, Thanks for the instructions. I've been looking in the wrong place. There's the You Tube Icon in the advanced reply and that's where I've been trying to insert. Do you know what that's for. I'm just curious

No clue what that wrap deal is about - doesn't work for me either.

On other forums I belong to, I use the "share" button on Youtube, and then copy the "Embed" address. Just pasting that address in a post puts the video in it. That doesn't work here either....

You could partner that up with a double barrel, bolt action rifle:

That had me lusting for the "Lieutenant" pairing for years.
