    Bought a Desert Eagle before knowing Magnum Research was owned by Kahr

    and it was a pleasant surprise, since I love the CM9 and PM40 that I have. I've had the DE 1911 G for nearly a week and already have 500 rounds through it. Love the trigger and the accuracy. I'm new to 1911's so I'm learning. Love this one, however.

      I didn't know anything about the history of the Desert Eagle pistols or Magnum Research, or Kahr. I bought the Kahr after shooting a borrowed PM9 but without much "net research" and hadn't shot an automatic pistol until March of this year. But I have a file and a sight pusher now so I'm an "expert", LOL.
