  • The Eaglet has Landed

I've been thinking a lot about a really tiny pistol. I guess, for reasons I'd rather not discuss online, that I'm ready to consider pocket carry. But I'm still real stubborn about metal pistols. So I found this one today and really cannot wait to shoot it tomorrow. NIB - never fired - blank warranty card - three magazines.

That's nice. I looked at those a while back. I'm trying to remember if they have the double recoil springs inside.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

yes -- two springs -- and it is the smoothest operating slide I've ever felt. I think they get away with relatively light springs due to the ports in the barrel. The escaping gas helps control the slide.

The trigger is every bit as smooth as a Kahr but a little heavier with some stacking just before the break. I don't feel the need to alter that in any way. It's actually comforting.

      It's an interesting pistol.

Prepare for some recoil. A .380 in a tiny package like that can be a handful. Nice find.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

P.S. Do not get one of these for an inexperienced shooter. ripley16 is right.
