  • For Sale Kahr T40 Excellent Condition

I have decided I am going to sell my T40 ...( looking for a nice 1911). It is a 2004 model , or there about. The serial number on this gun is ..... **0007. It was originally purchased by a Fed. agent who sold it to me about two years ago. His name was Bond ..... ok, sorry, let's not go there. Actually I purchased it from a forum member here (and yes he is a retired Fed). He had about 500 rounds through and I have put approx. another 300. Performs flawlessly and chambers everything (slingshot like) with ease ... even riding the slide. Smoothest running Kahr I own ( I own several).

It has night sites (Novaks, I believe). Dark wood grips. There are no surface scratches on the weapon that I can find ... very very well taken care of.

I have 3 magazines and 60 to 80 rounds of fresh Golden Sabre .40 cal hollow points.

$700 shipped from Florida. To your FFL if out of the state of Florida.

I would be willing to consider trades for a really nice newish Commander size 1911. Cash one way or the other to equal trade value is fine. Stainless ONLY 1911's considered, please.

    Money works, also.

email for pics (bpjohnsn@cox.net) or I will post some later. But, it looks exactly like a T40 in great condition!

I would buy yours except that I already have one after having it special ordered by my local dealer.

If they are Trijicon as my K9 and P9 are, Trijicon will re-lamp them for a low price. Mine cost $58 which included the 3 lamps and return shipping... took about 3 weeks, I think. I just sent my slide to them by USPS Priority for about the lowest rate. My K9's were over 12 years and too dim for quick acquisition. Now they're bright and shiny in the dark again. I'm thinking of having the P9's done, now.

If I put them next to my newer Sigs they are noticeably less bright. But they look strong enough on my night stand at night. I would say they are 75-70 percent

            I have to apologize .....
Ever since I listed this T40 I take it out at night and regret it.
I cleaned it again just to take it apart and admire it... lol.
I kick myself for thinking it was expendable.

For now, I am going to remove it from the market. I bought myself a new 1911, and maybe after getting enamored with that I will feel I can do without the T40 .... but for now, I'm going to keep it.

Again, I'm sorry for the waffling, and thanks for the interest.

No one here can blame you for keeping it. They are highly coveted and rare as chicken lips in my neighborhood. Only seen one in person ever, held it for a long time. Guy at the gun show felt sympathy for me I guess.

Someday I hope to have a T series that I hope not to sell too.

Good job. I usually sell the gun and THEN I realize what I have done.
