" My wife wants me to reduce my gun footprint in the house, and this is the gun that gets used the least." *****traded locally for another gun****..........................If this is how you reduce a gun footprint in a house, I need you to come over to my house to explain this to my wife. Although she usually never complains when I get a new firearm, I usually trade another. I need you to explain how to keep your firearm, and get a new one. You seem to have the knack of reducing a gun footprint, with out changing the total of said guns

Im guessing he traded for a smaller gun since he needed to reduce the gun footprint.

      Good move Rev.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I love you guys ... in a totally appropriate way! So here goes. I had been trying to sell my E9 for several months on Armslist, but to no avail. I would get emails from people, who would then never respond back, or if we did talk, they often had no clue that here in Connecticut you actually need a permit to buy a gun. Anyway, today I went shooting with a friend at a not-so-local gun shop, and they had a blued Walther PPK .380 in the used gun rack. I had actually been looking to sell my stainless PPK/S to buy a blue PPK, so I decided on the spot to do something. I had the E9, plus a $125 gift certificate, so I went and did the dirty deed. It's true I still have four guns, but I'm thinking that it might be easier to eventually sell the PPK/S than the E9 ... only time will tell. The Tazmanian Devil is correct, though, I did swap the E9 for a smaller gun, so my overall gun footprint is smaller.

Hey if his wife buys any of this, I'm totally on board with the whole thing. Works perfectly fine for me.

"Bless me, Colonel, for I have sinned." This line just knocked me over though, I'm still kind of chuckling some.

Kind of reverse role going on here.

Ok Rev, say 10 Hail Mary's and 5 Our Fathers, god loves you and forgives you and if you send me 20 bucks each month I will NOT say anything to your wife.

As long as you have the wife going for that good for you. I like that logic... i think I've done kinda the same thing twice recently.

Well, it turns out I was right ... I tried to sell my E9 for 6 months and never really got even one serious nibble. But I sold the PPK/S in 3 days for my asking price. So I am now down to my wife-acceptable limit!
