For Sale **SOLD** 9mm 4" ported barrel

I have decided to sell my 9mm 4" ported barrel due to lack of use. It has functioned perfectly, but I carry with the standard barrel so i will practice with the standard barrel. I believe it fits the P9 K9 and CW9. $100 shipped.

Please help me understand. A 4" barrel would be the size of a T series, not a K or P series?

Also wouldn't the slide need to be ported to match the barrel?

I think this would be the barrel designed to extend past the end of the slide, with the ports on top.

What pistol did you buy it for and what does the barrel say on the right side of the barrel shroud? I got one for my P9 and it says P9 and will work with the CW9, according to Kahr, but it doesn't say the K9, too. My K9 is vintage late '97 or early '98.

Yes it is the extended barrel as pictured in the above post. It was purchased for and used in my P9. I will get the info off the barrel when I get home later. As far as use in the K9, I am told it will only fit newer versions.

That might be the case. My K9 barrel was different in several ways, mainly the feed ramp. While that ported barrel would lock up in my K9, I didn't ask Kahr and it wasn't included with the barrel info at their site. I didn't want to risk shooting it.

The good thing about the Kahr ported barrels, is that the flash is directed away from the front of the pistol. You wouldn't want any part of your body forward of the muzzle, anyhow! I did finally get some flash photos posted after a couple of trips to the range.

That's a good deal on the barrel. I got mine while it was on sale for $130 + shipping and now they are back to $160 + shipping. I really like the barrel in my P9, but I have other Kahrs that I usually carry... my Mag-na-ported P40 and PM45. I just put Big Dots on my P40 and now it's 24-hour capable.

I didn't mean to butt in, but thought the info and pix might be helpful. Good luck on the sale. It's a good buy for someone!
