I have a 20 round mag as well as two 30 round magazines that have been modified to fit the commercial Thompson mag catch. One magazine (30 rounder) is parkerized and marked "U.S. -30 CARTRIDGE-CAL. 45". I have no need for these since I have swapped out my mag catch to a USGI mag catch. $70 SHIPPED takes the trio. That's good of you to offer those up here. I never could understand why they modified the catch on the new ones. I modified my catch like you did so I don't have to ruin good GI mags.

I read something about it not being able to easily support anything used on the original SMG to make the whole conversion much harder. But also, like any other money hungry company out there, if you make proprietary mags, you can set the cost at whatever you want and can get it because not everyone trusts their own dremel work. I bought these mags as they are, I myself cannot allow myself to butcher original parts and stuff. I had a lot done to my Thompson between the mag catch, barrel swap, grip mount swap (to not butcher USGI fore ends), riveted on rear sights, dowel pinned front sight, etc. About $765 in work done plus the barrel, stock set, and tax stamp lol. That CZ scorpion would have Barth drooling too.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
