Ammo Suppliers...Best or Worst

I'm getting ready to spend some money on bulk ammo and some SD assortments to dial in my SD round. Can anyone suggest a great ammo site or the ones to watch out for? Thanks!

My first stop for online ammo shopping is ammo to go, always very good selections in most calibers, reasonable pricing and S&H isn't bad when buying bulk. I also like the fact they often have hard to find rounds for SD in the 50 round LE boxes.

I've had good service from SG Ammo, Palmetto State Armory and Kyles Gun Shop.

+1 on sgammo, it's become my go-to place lately. they just got a bunch of 147gr 9mm in after being totally out of stock. getting ready for another bulk order of 147 super-x and 147 ra9b.

but, great company and great prices.

I've had nothing but good service from CTD, Kyle's gunshop, Midway, and Ammunitiontogo.com. Lots of good choices. What I like about Kyle's is that they always seem to have Federal HST in stock at a good price.

I feel I should clarify/elaborate on my post about CTD. I used to buy ammo there but two things really got under my skin.

1. They add a product to their site again when they raise the price, so the cheaper price comes up on internet searches but will forever be out of stock.
2. You have to make sure all the ammo you buy in one order is shipping from the same warehouse or you'll get charged shipping AGAIN for each additional warehouse.

Just some things to watch out for.

Another +1 for ammotogo though.

90% of the time is Ammo to go, Wideners usually has better prices on 5.56

I use Ammo To Go for just about all of the SD ammo that I buy.
They usually have what I want in stock and their prices are usually competitive. They ship very fast also.

I ordered five 50 round boxes of Federal HST .45 ACP ammo on Saturday, May 12th, and received the shipment yesterday afternoon (05/15). Ammunition To Go was the supplier, and I'm very pleased. Since I live in Texas, I had to pay the sales tax, but I've been unable to find the HST ammo in any of my usual retail locations.

Service from these folks was very fast, and I'll be ordering from them again.
